Back in the Lords today.
I left feeling incredibly proud to stand alongside so many brave, wonderful bereaved families who have turned their grief into tireless advocacy, many campaigning for AD for terminally ill adults for over a decade without giving up. People full of courage, humanity, kindness and compassion.
Proud too, to stand alongside fellow campaigners living with incurable illnesses.
Whatever your view on this issue, the conversation must remain respectful, honest, compassionate and transparent.
Happy 60th birthday to 1990 world champion Per Jonsson.
In my opinion if you love speedway you love Per
The fact that one of the 2026 team suit designs at @KS_Torun is based on Per's leathers from 32 years ago tells you everything you need to know about the man

Is it just me or is the skills test on @MasterChefUK the professionals absolutely meaningless it is totally ignored by the judges when deciding who to send home so the chef’s might as well completely cock it up then just concentrate on their signature dish
@SpeedwayShamble The main barrier is financial. The costs can’t be covered by gate receipts so someone with deep pockets would have to be prepared to fund it long term and the last time I checked they’re few and far between. The long term future of speedway in the UK is at risk
From being in paradise last week to coming home to storm Goretti aftermath yesterday. Oh and two fridge freezers that had been off since the the resulting power cut had tripped out the RCD
@VirginAtlantic Hi I’m trying to check in on your app and have completed the process but when I click on boarding pass it takes me back to the start of the process I can’t download the pass
@Stephen78857051 I was told a story by another rider about the time Ken crashed in Australia and was taken to hospital. When the nurse asked him what was his religion he replied Tooheys 🍺
A relaxed looking Ken McKinlay, complete with the customary bobble hat warming up his machine. Ken was a frequent visitor to Australia during the British off season & as well as winning the Australian Title in 1964 he also won The WA, NSW, SA, QLD & Vic State Titles.
@bobxski@SNSactiongroup Had a FaceTime chat with Jimmy yesterday he was on his way home to Florida with his wife Nicky after a holiday looked and sounded healthy and happy
