@RealJohnMaher77 if you’re just starting out (only a couple case studies) — how would you recommend communicating credibility without “cheapening” into guarantees? I understand this question might be difficult to answer, lol.
English

They can be effective undoubtedly, but not something I have ever done.
I think it comes off as cheap.
If you’re selling lower-cost services though with a less informed prospect, then it can help.
Especially if your target prospects are particularly risk-averse because of their lack of familiarity with the services offered.
English

In the “economy of offers” this has become far too common.
“Sign x amount of leads in x amount of time” has become so common, I believe the average decision maker’s brain auto-filters it.
Why is this still done? ⬇️

With how low the barrier to entry is in business nowadays … Claims mean nothing. Any 18 year old kid can claim he’ll “help you sign 10 clients next month” with zero substance behind it. The differentiator lies in your results. Doing what you’ll say 10 times over. Having an army of people that will vouch for you if needed. Years of goodwill and doing good by others. This is how you win - and help a lot of people in the process

@RealJohnMaher77 Agency is lead generation + bookkeeping (focused on margin improvements). what do you think about the guarantees / risk reversals?
English

This depends a lot on what client you’re serving and the price of what you’re offering.
Having broader social proof, strong organic, and growth fueled by paid is a workable model.
Offers are still good, it’s just how you construct them to differentiate that’s important.
My view is, initial touch point should be different than the “X in X days” angle.
Offering value add material first and or beginning a line of questioning is more effective for higher priced services.

@heydannymiranda @ComedicBizman hi Danny. Thank you for all your work and insightful podcasts. Could you expand on what you mean by consciousness?
English

@ComedicBizman re: consciousness have been saying for the past month every day, "How in the world is every person not talking about this (or at the very least aware of this)??"
English

@RestaurantWill picture aside, do those combos really not work well? my guess would have been those usually do well if the kid is serious

@techsalesguy how do you track website visitors and social media engagement such that you can get their contact info?

How to grow your outbound B2B pipeline in 2024:
1. Search for signals
Your next customers are likely already showing intent. You have to enable outbound reps to find these people.
- Website visitors
- Social engagement
- G2 comparisons
- Old opportunities
This is how you make cold outreach... warm
2. Move BDRs down funnel
The 'death of BDRs' is mostly overhyped. AI will quickly replace high volume outreach and bad sellers.
The best BDRs will become more aligned to revenue:
- Cross selling customers
- Managing trials for PLG biz's
- Partnering more closely with AEs
- Targeted outreach based on intent
- Promoted to full cycle reps
3. Prioritize phone first
Our BDR team's meetings, booked via phone:
- Q2 = 43%
- Q3 = 54%
- Q4 = 61%
Prospects are overwhelmed by AI generated emails & below average cold outreach.
Verbal communication and phone skills 📈
4. Leverage AI to be relevant
Email personalization is a byproduct of how you prospect.
Relevance is what slows most reps down.
Messaging matrix's like this (created in GPT) have been useful for our team.
5. Content led GTM growth
Companies are realizing the power of brand ambassadors. See Apollo, Lavender and Usergems.
Building a personal brand can literally be an asset for you and your employer.
