Think a little deeper. How sad would the world be if as soon as someone reached the magic number of being worth $10M they stopped contributing to society and just enjoyed themselves. Nailed it. My motivation on X has been killed the last month. I feel like I've been disconnected from the Tesla community in terms of content consumption and interaction. And as a frequent poster, sometimes a high quality post will do a decent number of views, but other times it won't get any. Sometimes an emoji will perform better than thoughtful analysis.

@elonmusk The instability is the biggest hurdle. Between unpredictable reach and a 'For You' feed that feels disconnected from my actual community, the ROI on high-quality content has plummeted. Creators need a reliable feedback loop, not a void. And bigger payouts would be nice too lol

NEWS: The NHTSA has announced that its has upgraded the probe into Tesla's FSD (Supervised) in low-visibility conditions to what’s known as an “engineering analysis.” It’s a step that is often required before the agency tells a company to issue a OTA recall, but does not automatically mean that the NHTSA will issue a OTA recall. The NHTSA said its engineering analysis follows an earlier preliminary review and broadens the probe to about 3.2 million ​Tesla vehicles across multiple models equipped with the system, covering most vehicles on U.S. roads.

Just to be abundantly clear: It only appears on Replies and it will be used purely for ranking & personalization of that section. The Reply Algorithm is currently is the worst product in the company. There is no logic, no signal, just garbage. Replies could be ordered randomly with crypto spam at the top and it would probably be better than the current system.

This is a bad idea. One of the reasons Reddit is so bad was because of the upvote/downvote system. If dislikes suppress posts in the timeline, X will rapidly descend into an echochamber.

I am a Democrat. I served in the Clinton administration. I did not vote for Donald Trump and am highly unlikely to support him or his acolytes in the future. I also have serious disagreements with many of the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policies. But it is profoundly disturbing that a growing segment of the far left appears to be almost rooting for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other forces fundamentally opposed to the United States and our allies. This seems to reflects a corrosive strain of anti-Americanism, dressed up in postcolonial theory, that risks blinding us to the moral realities of our world and the nature of our adversaries.
