What in the hell is wrong with the @PelicansNBA letting go BIG SHOT???
He’s been with the organization since it’s inception in 1988.
If my math is correct that’s 38 years.

Who says he wanted to retire? Why are you speaking for him like you know how he feels? The point is you shouldn’t…
He clearly loved his job, was great at it, and has nothing to do with the utter failures of this front office; therefore he shouldn’t have been let go that way.

Big shot worked for 30 years man. He’s not going to be looking for another job. He will retire a legend in the community and get to enjoy his life. Yall are acting like we threw him on the streets.

I’m gonna put my phone down. I do not want to say anything I may regret when my emotions calm down. All I will say though is Big Shot was the best thing about that damn franchise and for them to do him like this will forever be fucking unforgivable.

Multiple sources indicate that long time equipment manager, David Jovanovic, aka "Big Shot" has been let go by the Pelicans. Jovanovic has served as the equipment manager since 1988 when the Charlotte expansion franchise was introduced. The move has completely shocked people.
