After witnessing repeated acts of malfeasance, false campus police reports and blatant, illegal interference by a support person/parent during a university hearing (where the support person was caught texting answers to the complainant during his cross examination), I requested that law enforcement be notified of the conduct. No action was taken by UMBC administration. A UMBC INVESTIGATOR, TITLE IX DIRECTOR AND TITLE IX “DECISION MAKER” WITNESSED THE CONDUCT. Several days later, a new Title IX director was appointed. After I notified UMBC of my concerns, a hearing officer confirmed the support person/parent’s conduct after reviewing WEBEX footage of the hearing. The support person/person was seen openly texting with the complainant and the “witness” reading the responses (as his own) during cross examination. THE ACTIONS OF THE SUPPORT PERSON/PARENT AND COMPLAINANT WERE CAPTURED ON WEBEX VIDEO. The conduct of the Athletic Director and responsible individual parties violates Title IX and warrants a review by law enforcement for possible criminal charges. WHERE IS UMBC LEADERSHIP? Been doing this work for well over three decades, I have never seen anyone text responses to a witness in real time during a hearing. And a head coach was fired over this…..? I am formally requesting a review by the UMBC Board and Maryland law enforcement. A similar request was made to UMBC weeks ago.

After the firing, Moran thanked his @UMBC_MLax staff, alumni and current players, saying, “I love all you men.” Don M. Jackson of @SportsGroup slammed Tucker, saying, “The student-athletes at UMBC are suffering due to lack of leadership in @UMBCAthletics. They deserve better.”

He is a very good, knowledgeable lacrosse coach, he is a great leader/mentor, and he he truly cares about his players. Ryan is exactly the type of coach you want your kid playing for.

Ryan Moran said @UMBCAthletics athletic director Tiffany D. Tucker informed him yesterday that he will be terminated as @UMBC_MLax coach. He said she gave him two options: to be fired for cause or resign. Moran said he will not resign.

@Wendi_Irlbeck @espn @TheMasters Terrible take. Thurs-Sunday will still be The Masters. The Par 3 round and the practice rounds have always been informal and fun. Actually some of the best parts of it are these things. Seeing these guys as human, fathers, etc having fun and not dialed in like robots.

@NFL_DovKleiman If the contractor didn't have workers comp insurance, he's just as fucked. If Bill knowingly hired a person without a valid license (must be WC covered to maintain one), it's his responsibility to cover the painter's expenses. 285k is pocket chamge to Bill. Just pay for it.

@ZacGoodman_ Do you have your athletes briefly lift their feet off the ground to fully disengage? I have mixed feelings. It works but also don't like losing the stability even if for a split second. We pause but many of my students come in lifting feet from outside coaching.

When Box Squatting, an Athlete should use the Box as a means of breaking up the eccentric and concentric. This is leveraging the static/dynamic contrast method to create both absolute strength and RFD. If the Box Squat is absent of a stop, it will not lead to the same result.

@Chris_Jast It is a crazy loophole in the rules. And if defense doesn't pick up the ball the whistle won't blow until the ball is out of bounds so time is gone. Literally everyone could have tackled/held their guy.

@TaylorTwellman Ehh? Lots of traffic between him and the ball. He was recovering and moving left, saw it late, through legs of one defender and brushing past another. And ball was smacked. Very tough play for any keeper.

also, while yes Johnson’s level of trash talk is probably the top of Maryland players I’ve seen, Matt Rambo wasn’t exactly a Nordic cyborg. He would give it from time and time. Wisnauskas even had some moments. Bernhardt absolutely had an incredibly reserved personality.

@farango77 @ZacGoodman_ You can also measure Ground Contact Time and Reactive Strength Index with the JUMP. And because of the variety of ways it can be set up you can measure Vertical, GCT, and RSI in lots of different set ups.

Ya’ll ever seen a kid jump high on a Jump Mat or OVR… And NOT be explosive in another arena or test? I haven’t. An Athlete that can Jump High on one test will Jump High on another. The game is just being explosive.

@jjdools @type2twitch It’s pretty easy to know what percentile a kid ranks when there are about a dozen or so of us on here that showcase freaks on different devices. Pick a piece of tech and tell all your kids they suck unless they can beat some freak you found on the internet. That’s what I do.

If you cannot jump a 40” vertical on the OVR landing exactly how I do, I don’t even want to hear you tell me anything about using force plates.
