@DeborahMeaden Our cats are terrified of our chickens - won’t go in the garden if they’re free ranging.

@BenStiller Can’t wait - best thing on TV and the cast, writing, direction, design, soundtrack… perfect. 👌
English

@MattP1Gallagher It’s not just not wanting the WDC but throwing away a very good chance for a 1-2 and to close in on the WCC. It was too close between the teams - feels like a “whoever leads into the first corner” order would have let them control the race.
English

@109mph AWS and gigabit fibre broke my home tinkering - always fall back to “way easier with EC2”.
English

@blader Why isn’t this kind of thing Also location based? I’m basically at the same five places all the time and if they’re shenanigans outside of that, there should be an additional layer of security

@109mph That's a better surface than a good chunk of the proper roads around me at the moment - certainly smoother.

If Cybertruckis so great, why are its drivers so impressed that it can handle a flat dirt track, like how low were their expectations?
Tesla Owners Silicon Valley@teslaownersSV
Cybertruck is savage on off roading trails and handles the mud like a champ.
English

@Lambo88 It did feel a bit “I don’t want another business of [x] type” with a particular candidate being kicked out.
English

How have the 2 best candidates missed out on #TheApprentice final and 2 worst made the cut? I’m livid.
As much as I enjoy the interviews episode. Presumably the compatibility of the business plans within Sugar’s portfolio could be vetted at the auditions?

@Effie_D @IanDBlades Aldi have a really nice olive oil as well that's still cheaper than most of the other brands and tastes great: groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-GB/p-specia…

@Mick4Boro @utb_smith Houchen's prone to quantum-entanglement as well, it's impossible to describe his state as at all separate from certain private sector partners and they share the same spin.
English

@utb_smith Houchen demonstrating quantum politics, where it is possible to hold two diametrically opposed opinions at the same time. Schrödinger's cycle lane?
English

@Lambo88 @neilbelieves Better than Salvation/Genisys but that’s not saying much. I’ve got a soft spot for the concept and Hamilton/Arnie so still enjoyed it but I wouldn’t rush to see it.
English

@skatothecore I suspect that the bold Dennis McCabe bit is an e-signature, so potentially he's just signed that via an online form/PDF etc.

@109mph @canadiancarol1 Also if Middlesbrough council hadn't been run by a Conservative/Independent coalition from 2019-2023, with the previous independent mayor having something of a habit of some curious spending decisions.

English

@canadiancarol1 You’d have a point, if it were only Labour councils filing for bankruptcy
English

@utb_smith They’ll wait until a week or two before the mayoral election so that Ben can have a truck load of “vindication” published that will be fresh in everyone’s mind.
English

@Stocklington @utb_smith There is a quote from the Post Office along those lines (can't find the exact quote). Horizon itself when it was developed for the DWP - where it crashed and burned - was intended to stop a huge amount (£150m) of benefits fraud so the concept was baked in. independent.co.uk/news/business/…
English

@jprelph @utb_smith I wonder if there was a prior belief in great levels of criminality but that it was hard to prove. New system comes in. Bingo: the assumption is accepted as proved because there was never a challenge to the assumption. See also the modest levels of proven fraud versus the belief.
