I was born with quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, which is very much real. And in any case you didn't address the fundamental problem. There are not enough jobs for everyone. As I keep saying, there aren't even enough jobs for everybody who is fit for work.

This is incredibly sad. At first I was sympathetic then I read they had to be propped/positioned by caretakers to have sex....and she couldn't carry the baby to term due to risk of losing her own life. Now Im like "WTF?!" They chose to create a child that will suffer for life? A child they can't care for themselves? That's low key selfish, but the medical professionals who allowed this were highly negligent. Every child is a blessing, I guess.

@zubaidah_x It’s their business, as someone with Spina Bifida & paralysed with other issues, there’s a slim chance any child I had could get it. Don’t judge on things that have absolutely nothing to do with you.

People are born healthy and become disabled. Accidents happen. It’s one thing to not know the risks but knowing the health struggles you face yourself and still going ahead to bring a child into the world KNOWING they won’t be spared from them is something.

instead of harassing disabled people that have kids, i think we should advocate for a more conducive and accommodating society for disabled kids.

@AliArthPainter @LucasAlan94 Yeah I have hobbies etc but no relationship unfortunately. I was in a relationship though, but it ended 4 years ago & I’ve struggled to move on from it.

People argue that disabled children shouldn't be born because they will suffer. You know what you could do to remove their suffering? Create a more accessible society and actively confront ableism.

@AliArthPainter No amount of accessibility can fully negate pain and suffering from some of these conditions. At some point the suffering outweighs accessibility Harsh truths are still truths It’s also not ableism to point this out in general.
