This account was earning between $900 and $1,000 every payout cycle when the revenue-sharing program first launched. After joining the program, its reach gradually declined. And in the most recent payout period, it didn't receive any payment at all. When someone experiences that, their priority becomes distribution rather than revenue sharing. Since revenue sharing is no longer important to him, he's choosing to leave the program.

I previously shared my thoughts on the flaws of the revenue sharing system. Here's another example: a post and an account that finally decided to walk away from the program. Despite generating this level of impressions, the account still received little to no payout and ultimately chose to leave revenue sharing on its own. So why do you think it wasn't paid? Was it the niche? The audience? Or do you think revenue sharing is mostly random?

@alexkaybuilds Don’t tell me that. I am 39. Can you imagine what I will feel next year when I turn 40?😂 because even I don’t know how I will feel it. Btw 30 is the best age, it’s the wisdom + the beauty. Hard to beat combination.

Guess what, I learned about grill-with-docs while laying by the pool on vacation. Here I was always using grill-me before my PRDs and issues only. How in the world did I miss that skill 🙄. One great way to update your AI knowledge as an engineer is to spend part of your vacation laying in the pool watching videos about AI. Also yes, I’m posting a pool photo. Consider this my one-day allowance for being slightly risqué because I’ve somehow forced myself to do barre every day (even when I dreaded it) and it has paid off. Not bad for an old lady by tech standards 😂😂😂 😬 Work hard, work out your body hard(so you avoid that pain from working out your computer all day) vacation hard, and occasionally give yourself credit when you’ve actually earned it.

5 million impressions. That's the wall most X accounts are grinding against right now. For some it takes weeks. For others, months. And if you're under 5K followers, it's brutal. You already know that. I'm not even there yet. But I know what actually moves the needle: viral replies. One that lands can do a million views on its own (like my best reply, see image). That's weeks of posting into the void, compressed into an afternoon. Can you go viral on command? No. Nobody can. But there are a few things that tilt the odds. I'll get into those soon.
