An account complained about the new algorithm and ended up getting suspended. Nikita reviewed the account and pointed to the exact X rules it broke: engagement spam. I wish X provided this level of transparency for every enforcement action. Whether it’s a suspension or monetization pause, users should know exactly which rule(s) they violated. It would remove a lot of the guesswork.

Has anyone else noticed this with the new X algo? The For You and Following tabs feel almost identical lately. I’m barely seeing new people or fresh accounts in my feed, it’s mostly the same circle of people over and over. The algorithm seems to be pushing heavy on “what you already engage with” instead of helping discover new creators. Is this just me? Or are you seeing the same thing?
