Text models don't seem conscious because they are just text and don't run in real time. With video it's going to feel very different.

The people in AI-generated videos seem conscious. Imagine a video generator that runs in real time and shows a man in an empty room. You can talk to him; he talks back. He paces around, gets bored, eats, asks questions. Is this a "video model" or a simulated universe?
