I think you guys should stop learning languages and start learning programming already.

@tsoding @g37800163 on platforms with word addressable memory, void* and char* need extra data to specify the byte address. this extra data can be stripped off when converting to int*

This is the part of pure C I never understood. Why isn't void** compatible with int**? void* is compatible with int*, sizeof(void*) == sizeof(int*). So the covariant compatibility of void* across several levels of indirection makes perfect sense to me. Am I missing anything?

@g37800163 Could you please provide an example of a target where sizeof(void*) != sizeof(int*) and why would void* be still compatible with int* on such platform. I'm genuinely curious to explore such target.

@tsoding sizeof(T*) is implementation defined which means sizeof(void*) == sizeof(int*) won't hold true for every compilation target there is. and even if, the same representation/alignment is only guaranteed between char* and void*

I think based on the number of bookmarks people didn't read the source code, there is 0 llm involved , just a simple inter process communication, great implementation by one and only tsoding

Some time ago I coded a TUI Minesweeper in Pascal. Today I coded an AI agent in C to play that Minesweeper for me so I have more time to increase the shareholder's value. This is only the beginning. We are not ready for what's coming.

@tsoding You should add some arbitrary pauses between each action, that'd sell it perfectly
