Kliff is one of my favorite game protagonists ever. He's fantasy Master Chief. If Halo only just came out out today, the game journos would hate him simply for being a strong masculine stoic male yet He's one of the most beloved protagonists in gaming history. They hate Kilff for the same reason they love Master Chief.

I like Kliff, yeah he's dry and stoic but dude had his throat slit, lost everything and STILL always tries to do the right thing, even if it's as simple as feeding a stray dog or stopping to talk to a lost kid. Protagonists don't need to be telling quips in their inner monologue

@Karn_EX I played so much of this game when i was younger. I literally reinstalled it on my ROG because i remember it being so fun

It's still crazy that they basically made Final Fantasy X: Middle Earth Edition and it was actually pretty good

Crimson Desert players found a trick that allowed them to fly by spamming the stab ability while airborne Pearl Abyss saw this exploit & instead of patching it, added a whole new animation, making it a real mechanic THIS is how you treat players right!

@Jawmuncher @DXFromYT Yeah theres a tonne of games i do not like for various reasons, the most popular is Cyberpunk 2077 but to disregard a game/outright deny anything removes any critical thinking. In my example, there are so many people who adore it and i wont be the type of person to disregard them

@DXFromYT It really takes a specific kind of person to enjoy RE6. Which IMO are those who can recognize a games flaws but still see the potential/uniqueness within. Those are my kind of people instead of “I don’t like thing so it must be 100% bad”

I've played RE6 with 4 different friends and they all thought it was horrible. With that said, why are people debating if the game is still canon? They just referenced it in Requiem!

I’m sorry, but this is just ridiculous. Race swapping Snape and most of the students, including Hermione, completely kills the immersion in HBO’s Harry Potter show. Snape was written as a thin, greasy haired man with a pale, sneering face. Turning the story into one about racism destroys its internal themes, and ruins the story. This show was over for me the moment it chose tokenism over staying faithful to the books.

@ShadowMechYT 100% I love the game & I am constantly underwhelmed by what is added PER year by a whole team personally BUT the outrage people voice, and the extent of it, borders on extreme. I may not like it but I'll still play my favourite block game, i don't see a need to scream in the void

I’m going to be honest, the frustration over Minecraft updates is one thing I’ll never quite wrap my head around. I bought this game about 15 years ago, and it’s still getting free content to this day. In a gaming landscape where everything is a subscription or a $20 skin, getting any free update on a 15-year-old receipt feels like a massive win. Why are we complaining again? Maybe, I'm just missing something.

Hytale foundation work is going really well, and we're shipping updates at a high rate! Early access is exactly the kind of development I enjoy: move fast, break things, iterate. This is way more fun than I expected! Needless to say, it was a very good investment to save Hytale. FYI, we've got a hiring push coming after the contest wraps up, and you can expect updates to come even faster in the months ahead. The team will be about 100 members, with very few management/producer roles. Organized chaos. Once the foundation is further along, we'll be moving into dungeons, boss fights, progression, and a ton of exciting content. We have a ton of surprises in the works that have never been done in any sandbox/survival games! Hard engineering challenges ahead ;)

Clocked 7hrs in Crimson Desert today, mostly goofing around not doing the story. This game is made for me. Totally understand all the criticisms, and I agree that the game is not for everyone but… This is my dream game. Loving it. Will update thoughts after the weekend.

So yesterday I did the infamous 'roadblock' puzzle in CD that I see people reference in reviews. Its two sides of a puzzle, one completed, one not. Use what you have been taught. Really not hard. And the rest is shown via hologram. Am i missing something with the complaints?
