No one in the world deals with the weak, and international law does not work without strength. To succeed in negotiations, we must be strong on the battlefield and united on the home front. I shared my views today at the Kyiv Security Forum. Our “red lines” remain unchanged: we will not recognize any territorial losses, and we are not going to trade our land. Any compromise must, first and foremost, serve Ukraine’s interests. Ukraine’s “oil sanctions” are working effectively. This is not only financial damage for the aggressor, but above all a powerful reputational blow. The world sees that Russia is no longer a reliable supplier. Our goal is clear – to deprive the enemy of the resources needed to wage war. Militarily, we are at a stage where simply increasing the number of drones no longer fundamentally changes the situation. Both we and the enemy have reached a certain limit in the use of existing control technologies. The next stage is the full integration of artificial intelligence. We need a transition to autonomous systems capable of independently identifying targets and maneuvering. Ukraine already has such developments, and I am convinced they will very soon come as a surprise to the enemy.

A Ukrainian missile delivered a precise, surgical strike on a bridge as a column of Russian armored vehicles was crossing it. The bridge cracked and collapsed almost instantly. Along with it, dozens of Russian tanks, IFVs, and trucks loaded with ammunition plunged into the water. The column was moving tightly packed—vehicles were lined up one after another. Most of the crews didn’t have time to escape. What we see in the footage: The bridge collapsing before our eyes. Heavy armored vehicles plunging down and crashing into the water. Some vehicles have already sunk, others are flipping over and going under. Chaos in the water—shouts, burning fuel. According to preliminary estimates, at least 20–25 armored vehicles fell into the water. Along with the tanks and IFVs, ammunition, fuel, and likely the personnel of an entire unit went down as well. The strike was perfectly timed—the bridge was hit at the exact moment when the heaviest part of the column was crossing. The bridge itself is completely destroyed and currently unusable. This means Russian logistics in this direction are once again paralyzed.

The centipede-like robot by Ground Control Robotics is built to help remove weeds on farms. It moves easily through crops and rough soil without harming plants, inspired by a real centipede. The robot finds weeds and either removes them or sprays a tiny amount of herbicide, making farming more efficient and eco-friendly.

Ukrainian combat assault robots stormed Russian positions and created real chaos there. Unmanned assault vehicles—equipped with machine guns, grenade launchers, and surveillance systems—suddenly broke through Russian defenses and moved straight into the occupiers’ trenches. Seeing unmanned machines advancing on them and throwing grenades, Russian soldiers reportedly broke psychologically. Many began surrendering en masse, raising their hands and dropping their weapons. Some tried to flee, but the robots quickly “cleared” the positions. According to Ukrainian troops observing the situation, the Russians appeared completely demoralized—shouting “the robots are coming!” and “this is the end!” while abandoning their trenches. This is described as the first documented case where Ukrainian robotic assault units independently breached defenses and took prisoners—doing what previously only human assault groups could do. Ukrainian soldiers are already joking: “Russians were preparing to fight people—but got a war with Terminators.” This is not just a technological novelty. It is the future of warfare, which Ukraine is already implementing today. Robots help preserve the lives of soldiers while effectively destroying the enemy.

What happens when a country sacrifices a real partner to chase Beijing's promises? Ask South Africa. It's living the answer right now. In October 2024, South Africa's government publicly downgraded Taiwan's representative office, renaming it from the "Taipei Liaison Office" to a mere "Taipei Commercial Office" and demanding it leave the capital Pretoria for Johannesburg. This tore up a 1997 agreement originally brokered by Nelson Mandela. Beijing called it a "correct decision." Taiwan called it exactly what it was: political submission to the Chinese Communist Party. The consequences came fast. By 2025, South Africa's fresh apple exports to Taiwan dropped from $7.5 million to zero. Apple juice exports collapsed 98%. In September 2025, Taiwan did something it had never done before in its history: it imposed chip export controls specifically targeting South Africa, restricting 47 semiconductor products. South Africa asked for talks within two days. There are also 450 Taiwanese-owned factories currently operating in South Africa, employing roughly 40,000 people. All of that is now at risk. And what did South Africa actually get from China in return? A $9.7 billion annual trade deficit. Since 2000, over $114 billion in net cash has flowed from South Africa to China. Pretoria ships raw minerals. Beijing ships back manufactured goods. A framework trade deal was only signed in February 2026, after years of waiting, with full terms still being worked out. This is not new behavior from the CCP. In 2019, the Solomon Islands cut formal diplomatic ties with Taiwan and recognized Beijing instead, lured by promises of over $500 million in Chinese investment. The investment largely never materialized. Nicaragua was promised a $50 billion canal in 2013, with a ceremonial groundbreaking held in 2014. Not one meter was ever built. The project was officially cancelled in 2024. When Honduras cut ties with Taiwan in 2023, the U.S. State Department publicly warned: "The PRC makes many promises that are unfulfilled." The CCP's playbook is consistent. Promise big, demand political concessions upfront, and deliver as little as possible. South Africa alienated a real partner, triggered an unprecedented semiconductor weapon aimed directly at its economy, and put 40,000 jobs at risk for a trade relationship that structurally drains it every single year. #SouthAfrica #Taiwan #China #CCP #Geopolitics #TradeWar #Semiconductors #BRICS #Africa #Diplomacy

On April 7, the State Council of the People's Republic of China released the "Regulations on the Security of Industrial and Supply Chains," which took effect immediately upon release. The new regulations explicitly authorize government departments to investigate companies that have shifted their supply chains due to external pressure, and can also prohibit suspected companies and individuals from leaving the country. For example, foreign companies that transfer procurement, production, or orders out of China may be included in the investigation. Once found guilty, penalties include: prohibiting their investment in China, restricting the import and export of goods and technology, prohibiting relevant personnel from entering the country, revoking their work and residence permits in China, and restricting their exit from the country. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities issued this regulation to prevent the relocation of industrial and supply chains overseas. However, this regulation will not only fail to stop the transfer of supply chains and industrial chains abroad, but will also force the last batch of foreign-invested enterprises in China to completely abandon the Chinese market and withdraw from China altogether. The CCP's policy will ultimately be a futile effort!

After prolonged closed-door negotiations, Beijing and Kyiv signed a strategic agreement that until now no one had dared to speak about openly. And the first joint strike was… A large-scale destruction of Russian military facilities on Russia’s own territory and in occupied Crimea. According to sources close to intelligence, the Chinese side provided Ukraine with: real-time satellite reconnaissance data, access to its electronic warfare systems, and, according to some reports, even certain components for precision weapons. In response, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of powerful strikes that the Russians clearly did not expect on such a scale. Results over the past 24 hours: Several key ammunition and fuel depots deep inside Russia were destroyed. Powerful explosions occurred at facilities in Crimea and Krasnodar Krai. Logistics used by Russia to supply its southern forces was seriously disrupted. At the same time, China publicly stated that it “does not support aggression” and “advocates for a peaceful resolution,” but in practice it simply helped deliver a heavy blow to Russia’s war machine. Russian propaganda is already in hysterics. They are simultaneously trying to blame “Ukrainian Nazis” and “Western patrons,” but it looks pathetic—because it’s clear to everyone that such a level of precision would have been impossible without China.

Having foreign troops deployed along the contact line would make it very dangerous for Russia to begin a new war. They are afraid of supporting forces, bases, and international representatives. If we don’t have this presence, no words will stop Putin. And if we truly want to stop him, I am not sure that powerful countries can be mediators. If you are mediating, he doesn't feel guilt. This is a big problem. I'm not forcing anybody to pick sides. But the thing is, if we want to end the war, we have to tell Putin he is not right. I am not sure that dialogues built on compromise work. I think that President Trump, President Xi, Prime Minister Modi, and other big players in the world have to tell Putin he has to stop this war. They can't tell Ukraine “You have to stop the war”. We are defending. We are not aggressors. To stop what? All together, we must stop Putin. What does it mean to be a great leader? It means stopping the war through diplomacy. From an interview with CNN (2/3).

🇷🇺😀The largest gas storage facility has exploded! Powerful blasts, one after another, tore apart a massive underground storage site. A fireball shot hundreds of meters into the air, and the shockwave leveled entire surrounding areas. Not only the storage facilities are burning and exploding — the flames have spread to military bases and populated areas. Entire cities and bases are literally being wiped off the face of the earth. Thick black smoke is visible for dozens of kilometers, and detonations have been continuing for several hours.

The Ukrainian army has broken through a corridor to Melitopol and reached the Azov Sea! After a powerful breakthrough in the Zaporizhzhia direction, our assault units rapidly cut through Russian defenses and entered operational space. In recent hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken full control of key roads and are already securing positions in Melitopol itself. Russian defenses in the south have completely collapsed. Our troops have entered Melitopol and are advancing toward the Azov coastline. The enemy is retreating in panic, abandoning equipment, depots, and positions. Some Russian units are surrendering without a fight—they understand that encirclement is inevitable. This is not just a tactical success. It is a strategic breakthrough that could completely change the situation in the south. If the Armed Forces of Ukraine establish control along the Azov Sea coast, Russian logistics in Crimea will come under a critical threat. In fact, Crimea could be cut off from mainland Russia.

One morning while camping, I noticed several dozen ants had fallen into a five-liter bottle of water left open overnight. They writhed in the clear water, and I thought they were drowning each other to survive. The thought repulsed me, and I turned away. Two hours later, curiosity made me look again — and I was stunned. The ants had formed a living island, a pyramid. Some supported others from below, taking turns submerging and then coming up to rest. No one tried to save themselves first. They moved with calm coordination, each one taking the hardest place when it was their turn. I fetched a spoon and gently lowered it in. The ants climbed out one by one without panic. Then one, weakened, slipped back into the water. And then I saw it. The last ant, almost free, turned back. It climbed down toward the drowning one as if to say, “Hold on, I won’t leave you.” It grabbed him, but couldn’t lift him alone. I lowered the spoon again, and they both came out together — alive. I was speechless. First for having judged them as selfish. Then for their discipline, their resilience, their sacrifice. If ants, so small, can live with such unity and selflessness… why do we humans so often ignore those in need? Why do we build walls instead of living bridges? That morning I learned something: true strength is in unity. And if we’ve forgotten how to live like that, maybe it’s time we learned from the ants.
