🇦🇿 Irpin congratulates Azerbaijan on the Proclamation of the Republic Day! On 28 May 1918, the independent democratic republic of Azerbaijan was born - the foundation of a free country was laid on this day, which today is a true friend and partner of the Irpin community and the whole of Ukraine. Thanks to the financial assistance of the Azerbaijani government and SOCAR, after the russian attack in Irpin, the lyceum No. 12 named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva was restored and insulated. The city's polyclinic on Sadova Street was overhauled. New projects with the support of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, including important facilities for the life and development of Irpin, are ahead. I thank the leadership of Azerbaijan, the government, the people and Ambassador Seymour Mardaliyev for their respect, support and unwavering position. Freedom is never accidental. Neither is true friendship. I wish prosperity to your people and country, as well as to our partnership. Congratulations, Azerbaijan!

🇮🇹🇺🇦 Irpin celebrated Europe Day with the largest delegation from Italy in recent years. More than 30 guests from the Italian Republic came united by common values and goals: democracy, freedom and support for Ukraine in its struggle for independence and European development. This is an important visit for Irpin and Ukraine by those who are shaping European opinion today. Members of the national parliament and city councils of Milan and Rimini, journalists, activists, human rights defenders, representatives of various parties, MEPs, lawyers, writers and public figures. We have prepared a program for the honored guests about the crimes of russians in Irpin to bring the truth to Italian communities, parliaments and European media. I am grateful to everyone for their attention to the heroic history of Irpin, support and organization of our great high-level meeting!

80 years ago, the world experienced the greatest tragedy in history - the World War II. After tens of millions of dead, destroyed cities and burned destinies, a simple but profound slogan was born: “Never again.” Today we see that evil has returned again. On May 8, the anniversary of the victory over Nazism, the civilized world honors the dead with dignity and without pathos. And Russia celebrates. Parades, ribbons on tanks, slogans like “we can do it again.” For them, this is not about memory, but about a sick national idea, a demonstration of strength, disregard for victims, and justification for new aggression. For Moscow, World War II was an opportunity to finally conquer Ukraine. Millions of Ukrainians were mobilized en masse, often without training, and thrown into the meat grinder. Not as allies, but as a hated people. Past generations of Ukrainians survived. Today we are again at the forefront of the fight against evil. Not only for ourselves. For the whole of Europe. For the right of people to live in a free world - without dictatorship, without terror, without the “Russian world”. The world must finally unite with Ukraine and stop Russia. Because if evil is not destroyed, it returns. Always.

🇦🇺🇺🇦 “I was in Irpin more than a year ago, and it's amazing to see how your city has changed!”, I heard at the meeting from Julian Knysh, a representative of the Ukrainian diaspora in Victoria, Australia. This time, Julian came to Irpin together with Michael Galea, a member Parliament of Victoria. @VicParliament Michael traveled halfway around the world to see for himself how Irpin is coming back to life, how Ukraine is fighting the third year of a grueling full-scale war. And upon his return, he wanted to share his impressions with members of parliament in Australia. When people travel across continents to be with us, it means a lot. It's not about protocol, it's about the desire to support you personally. It is these personal contacts that help people understand our struggle more deeply, even in the countries farthest away from the war. 🇦🇿🇺🇦 The overhaul of the Irpin City Polyclinic is officially completed! An impressive result of our large reconstruction project worth UAH 60 million with Azerbaijani partners - SOCAR @SOCARofficial, the SOCAR-BLAGO Charitable Foundation, with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine headed by @SMardaliyev. The restoration was carried out in two major stages: 1. Insulation of the facade and roof, installation of new windows and restoration of the entrance groups. 2. Installation of a modern fire alarm system (for the first time for this building); - modernization of the ventilation system in the offices; - construction of a large and modern shelter to replace the old basement. Previously, the polyclinic did not have a single protected room. Now the shelter has 5 functional zones, two of which can be used as medical offices. There is also a convenient wide entrance and a ramp for people with disabilities. This is not just a repair, it is a sincere concern of true friends for the health and safety of tens of thousands of Irpin residents. I would like to thank SOCAR and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine for this large-scale reconstruction project on behalf of the entire Irpin community. On the day of the Resurrection of Christ, I stopped by the Dubky modular town to personally thank the team of @Shpionov and the @WCKitchen. For the third year in a row, they have been preparing free hot meals for our residents. On Easter, on a day off, they cooked 150 kg of Ukrainian traditional bograch and banosh in the morning and baked Easter cakes for the festive table in the Dubky modular town. I am grateful to God for choosing you to help the people of Irpin! Thank you, @chefjoseandres, for your love and support of Ukrainians!

On the eve of Easter, when everyone dreams of the warmth of home and reunions with loved ones, thousands of our civilians and soldiers will once again mark the Resurrection of the Lord in the hellish conditions of russian torture chambers. For some, this will be the third Easter in captivity. To remind the world of them and to keep attention focused on their fate, the families of the prisoners held the first car rally in Irpin. Easter cakes, provided by Irpin volunteers of the World Central Kitchen Foundation and Oleksiy Shpionov, were handed out to all those present — as a symbol of care and unshakable faith in the return of all our people from russian captivity. Thank you to everyone who consciously joins these rallies and supports the families of our prisoners. Captivity continues. Captivity kills. Our people are waiting.

🚑🚑 Today we received two ambulances from our American brothers from the city of Syracuse. 🇺🇦🇺🇲 Two years ago, Irpin and Syracuse officially became twinned cities. The distance between our communities is only a convention. They are true friends who will always come to the rescue. Soon these special vehicles will go to evacuate and save our wounded soldiers at the front. I would like to thank for the great work that has been done to get these vehicles to us: - AMR (A Global Medical Response Solution) for donating the vehicles to the Ukraine 1991 Foundation, - its founder, the outstanding doctor Gennady Bratslavsky - philanthropists Sam and Carol Nappi, who covered the cost of delivering ambulances to the other hemisphere - 7,500 kilometers away. 🇺🇸🇺🇦 The third anniversary of the liberation of the heroic city of Irpin was honored by our friends and partners from the USA, thousands of kilometers away. The entire Syracuse community sent warm greetings and words of support to Irpin. I am grateful to Hennadiy Bratslavsky, a man who has done a lot for Ukraine. He was the one who helped establish a connection between Syracuse and Irpin, facilitated the transfer of vehicles for doctors and the military, and provided medical supplies. Importantly, he did not just help from afar but also came to Ukraine with his colleagues to perform surgeries on wounded Ukrainian defenders. Despite the ocean between us, Irpin feels the genuine support of the Syracuse community and the people of the USA! @BenWalsh44 @Syracuse1848

The video message came from our friends from Lithuania, the head of Alytus district Rasa Vitkauskienė. I thank the people of Lithuania and the community of Alytus district for their support and faith in Irpin and Ukraine. And especially for your deeds that we will never forget. You have opened your homes to hundreds of Ukrainian women and children seeking refuge from the war, sent humanitarian aid and provided us with an ambulance filled with medicines when it was vital. The community of Cascais and the adviser to the mayor of @CCarreiras17, Francisco Kreye, conveyed words of support to the residents of Irpin: "Communicating with the mayor of Irpin and honoring the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian people, on behalf of the mayor of Cascais, Carlos Carreiras, we are honored to celebrate this event with you. Rebuilding a city is not just about physical recovery. It is about rebuilding hope, dignity and a sense of community. The partnership between Irpin and Cascais is an example of the resilience of the human spirit and the power of solidarity to create meaningful change." Thank you, Cascais! Over these two and a half years, we have become true friends. You helped us rebuild the Chervona Kalyna kindergarten for 300 children. You hosted our people and sent humanitarian aid. And most importantly, they were always there for us in the most difficult moments. We have many joint projects, meetings and good deeds ahead of us, because friendship born in difficult times is always the strongest! @CMCascais
