@SenTedCruz There is no solution without financial regulation and the prohibition of collectives. This weeks' proposal is incremental SEC positioning BS and dead on arrival. No pulse.

College sports are losing what made them special. Cinderella runs don’t last when the biggest programs raid mid-majors' rosters each season. Congress has to fix the legal mess here before college sports as we know it turns into a pumpkin. sports.yahoo.com/mens-college-b…

The complementary tip I picked up is to drive the right hip straight down the target line. The unhelpful conventional instruction is to shift pressure from trail heel to lead forefoot, but that emphasis on the lead forefoot inhibits a tight, rapid hip turn and the type of complete weight shift you describe here. We seldom/never see evidence of a Tour player providing weight shift to the left forefoot. His/her weight shift shoots to the outside of the lead foot and heel forced by a very tight, powerful hip turn. Your thoughts? For me the emphasis on a tight hip turn has been productive generating 4-5 mph in ball speed.

@Irishfan7611 @tbhorka @MauraManning Irish, the cameras are always on. They are on at every practice and every meeting. They are edited before they go on Netflix, of course, but Freeman is on camera essentially his entire business day.

It's not just that Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman greets every one of his players individually before every practice. It's that he always brings a specific message to each guy. He's not slapping hands and moving on. He makes sure every player feels seen. That's culture.

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports. My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer. After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year. This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today. - Tommy Tuberville

@EvinKnowsBall Evin, if you have watched a lot of Jermemiyah Love, you realize on that play he would have departed the neighborhood. I have never seen a linebacker (e.g.#52) chase Love down 20 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Alex, the problem with keeping that lead toe down is that it restricts the speed and completion of the hip turn in many of us. I have adopted alternative pro-teaching that suggests the feel of driving the trail hip straight down the line of flight. Your thought here encourages leaving too much pressure on the lead forefoot, causing the trail hip to make a wider and incomplete turn 4-10 degrees right of the target line. The slower "outside" hip turn leaves some weight back on the trail foot, and the hip turn is slowed and constrained.

Proven first round caliber. Spends 40 hours a week with the Mike Denbrock. Riley Leonard laughed when someone asked him what ND could expect from Carr compared to him. "He's miles ahead of me as a freshman",etc. He has 12 games on tape. Led the #2 most efficient offense in the game as a rookie (EPA). Better than Indiana and Miami veterans. Similar to Oregon. Behind only Ohio State.

@RiggsGolf Love my Scheffler stinger. (He might not recognize it.) Ball 3-4 balls back from the driver spot. Slightly closed face. Leave some weight on left side. rip it with a downward blow. Full back swing. +4 degree path. Hold off 7-11 degrees 240. Money for this 9 index. 😎

Comment BREAKDOWN and I’ll send you the downswing fix that will get you dialed! Typically, when amateur golfers are struggling with their driver, it’s correlated to the fact that they are far too steep in the downswing, creating a descending strike into the ball. To get the most

Sen. Tommy Tuberville introduced a new, narrow college sports bill today. It would set eligibility limits at a max of 5 consecutive years to play 5 consecutive seasons. It also allows athletes to transfer one time, any additional transfers requires sitting out a year.

@DanMurphyESPN @PeteThamel Two things can be true. Tommy can have shit for brains but this can also be a good idea. And it clearly is. Add one loophole for your head coach leaving earning you one additional transfer, and let’s get on with it.

@DanMurphyESPN No. This is incremental cherry picking that does not prohibit so called cooperatives, and fraudulent NIL arrangements. It does not standardize allowable payment sources and methods, nor provide for federal enforcement on financial matters. No pulse. Dead on arrival.

CNN and much of the MSM are more willing to believe Iran’s lies than what Trump says. This isn’t healthy. We’re at war with Iran, yet many reporters trust Iran first. No wonder we’re so split as a country. If you hate Trump, you want to always find him wrong. No matter what, when or where. CNN owes its viewers, and the rest of the country, an apology.
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman

BREAKING: CNN just confirmed that their own reporting is absolute HORSESHlT after they spent nearly the entire day yesterday accusing Trump of lying about Iran talks. "We're now learning from a senior Iranian source that there has been an outreach between the U.S. and Iran."

The Nicene Creed was formalized at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325 and refined at Constantinople in 381. It was written to define orthodoxy against heresy, not to be recited mindlessly. Every line was hammered out in theological controversy.
