The way the national narrative is already shaping up to be “Oh well they don’t have Ant and Donte” this is true… BUT they completely ignore AG/ Peyton Watson being out.
I’d argue the combination of our two best defenders in a physical matchup like this is nearly as detrimental

@NuggetWatcher Well MN was tooled to contend with Jokic's Nuggets. What was unfortunate for MN is that doesn't translate to matching up against Luka+Kyrie or a rising OKC

@whatsontapnba You can go from a young player that bounces back from everything to being injury addled really quick. The team and he needs to take care of his body.

Giannis Antetokounmpo still talks about how he still feels pain in his knee after immediately returning in the playoffs in 2021 from the same injury.
I’m no doctor and am aware every situation is different, but Ant is 24. If there’s ANY risk that returning this postseason could jeopardize his knee’s comfort and health long term, it’s not worth it.
Hopefully Minnesota monitors this with Ant’s long-term trajectory at the forefront.

Everything I'm told, backed by what Chris Finch said to @PAOnTheMic this morning, is that Anthony Edwards fully intends to return to the playoffs at some point, if the Wolves can stay in the fight. If they advance, my gut says their next opponent will see him at some point.

@TylerSmithAB @adukeMN Nope. You want to claim unwritten rules, even the losing team doesnt just get to shave points off their loss. Murray was still playing until he missed. They were still playing the foul game long past the point when most would let the bench finish.

Maybe you should’ve had Jamal hold the ball with the shot clock turned off down 14 instead of chucking a 3.
That way the entire situation with Jaden never has a chance to happen.
What Jaden did was wrong, but Denver also had the chance to dribble it out.

Regarding possible suspensions, I will cite Rule 12A, Section VII (c) in the rule book:
“In determining whether to impose discipline on a player for leaving the bench area in connection with an altercation during a game, the NBA will take into account the following factors, as well as any other relevant facts and circumstances: (i) the distance the player traveled from his team’s bench, and (ii) the extent to which he entered the immediate proximity of the altercation.”.
But man it got heated up in there.

If you are going to intentionally foul not once but twice down 12 with 33 seconds...and shoot a 3 with 10.4 seconds (Murray could have dribbled the clock out)...you shouldn't be complaining about a layup at the end of the game. I'm just saying.

One of the worst losses I can remember.
Classless move by McDaniels.
Jokic wasn't thrilled but I wish the Nuggets would have brought that kind of energy when it really mattered.

Can’t blame Jokic for being super frustrated when he’s been absolutely locked down by a player that the entire league and former players makes fun of daily…a lot of bad podcasts out there.

Jaden is petty as hell but Nikola Jokic should be embarrassed. An injured Minnesota team wiped the floor this game and he didn’t show any intensity until then.

@whatsontapnba There are some very notable loses but I believe the Wolves have a winning record with Foster reffing.
If I remember correctly, Wolves won 2 years ago against the Nuggets in the playoffs when he officiated.
