@greece_heritage Im a proud Turkish but i dont approve this in any way. Especially the afterward events that took place in Istanbul rooting Greek shops. Its sad. I dont know what was the motivation behind but it costed not only to innocent Greeks in Istanbul but to all of us.

This is the true face of Turkey. The so called “main opposition” in Turkey, Kemal Kilicdaroglu: “Look at the lands of the Ottoman Empire. Turkey must go to that geography, must develop its own identity in that geography. We must go by growing, not by shrinking. There must be a Turkey in the Ottoman geography.” There’s no such thing as opposition in Turkey, they’re all the same. Switch Erdogan for this guy, and he’ll do the exact same as he’s saying here. They (western political elites) have to, because they have to save face for Turkey, there is an authoritarian member in NATO which also receives benefits from the EU. If they don’t cover for Turkey, their whole ideals and constant lectures on democracy collapses. You always hear Erdogan Erdogan Erdogan, but Erdogan just happens to be at the top today. Dumei, it is true that Turks in Austria are more conservative and nationalistic then Turks lets say in Istanbul. When I came to istanbul I was shocked how progressive they are. A total different picture from the ones I used to see in Germany and in Austria. If you could choose your nationality I am sure you would choose to be Greek ;) Deep in your heart and soul you are aware of it. I mena somehow you are Greek, just islamized and lost the path. Your ancestors were Greeks, they were just weak and bend to the forced taxes and choose the easy way out.
