BREAKING: Major clashes between US Army Special Forces and IRGC Ground Forces are reported in the Milas mount of the Rig Mountains in Charmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. USAF CSAR teams have located the second crew member of the downed F-15E of the 494th FS and are attempting to rescue him. Their aircraft and helicopters are under small and heavy arms fire from the IRGC, Basij militants, as well as nomad fighters. An Israeli soldier was killed, and another was seriously wounded in an incident of so-called "friendly fire" in southern Lebanon overnight, the military announces. The slain soldier is named as Sgt. First Class Guy Ludar, 21, of the Commando Brigade's Maglan Unit, from Yuvalim. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. during an arrest operation in the southern Lebanese village of Shebaa. The Maglan commandos had raided Shebaa to arrest a suspect who was allegedly aiding Hezbollah. According to an initial IDF probe, during the arrest, one soldier thought he identified suspects attempting to flee and opened fire. The gunfire killed Ludar and seriously wounded the other soldier. The arrest mission was completed, and the suspect was taken to Israel for interrogation. The military says it is further investigating the circumstances of the incident.
