The funny thing about this is that I had the idea of using an anamorphic lens this way in 17:9 mode on my XT4, but I convinced myself it was a stupid idea that people would scoff at.
This is a good reminder that you should always experiment. You’ve got nothing to lose.

Something from last night’s episode about which I’ve seen precious little discussion: Joy’s sympathy for elderly suffering curdling into venomous judgment with the mother who let her son suffer heatstroke. That’s frankly what I’d expect from a young and prodigious med student.

@thereisnojayjay had a roommate in los angeles who filled 5 gallon jugs with water and stored them in the walls bc he thought a massive earthquake was coming. we had to pour out hundreds if not thousands of gallons of water when we moved out. he went and lived in a treehouse after that.

@mollywidstrom i have never and will never use airbnb. I have stayed in one once, just outside Yosemite, but I didn't pay for it. Hotels are just no hassle no bullshit and that's perfect for me.
