@divalectics @AlexStoklasa i can imagine! my surgery was rib resection, and it took like 5 years for the nerve damage in that area to heal (it’s still not 100%, but it’s as good as it’s gonna get). it’s a rough area to have nerve damage in!

lots of bra-talk going on. ive been bra free for 15 years (started as a medical thing, i had nerve damage from a surgery that made it painful to wear bras), but there are occasional days that my chest is so heavy that the weight hurts. or I hit a pothole and a tit hits my face

@dannarebb @AlexStoklasa yeah i get that. i can get injections of either silicone or my own fat to make more of a mound if i wanted to. and i will someday. it’s just right now i am oversensitive in that area because of where i am in the nerve/scar healing process. maybe in 2-5yrs ill do it

@divalectics @AlexStoklasa wow, that’s wild!! I’m guessing there’s a chance I’ll want a lift eventually, and from what I know, that usually involves a bit of reduction. that’s probably 10 or 15 years down the road, though!

@AlexStoklasa @dannarebb my insurance wouldn’t play for a reduction because they claimed my BMI was too high. this is unjust ofc and absolutely ridiculous if you’ve ever seen a picture of me - because it really was all in my tits.

@dannarebb @AlexStoklasa i had like E cups & was seeking reduction before i found out how bad my cancer risk was (i had 2 genes!!). i had a masectomy with a “goldilocks reconstruction”. meaning they used my leftover skin to make a boob. i have gotta say my pain is significantly reduced.

honestly i'm this close to quitting reading for good. every single author i actually love turns out to be problematic or worse. i'm so tired of finding out after i already got attached. feels like i can't enjoy anything anymore without a background check first
