ఇవాళ ఏప్రిల్ 9! సరిగ్గా 23 సంవత్సరాల క్రితం మన తండ్రి, మహానేత డా వైఎస్ రాజశేఖర రెడ్డి గారు, అప్పటి ఉమ్మడి రాష్ట్రంలో పాదయాత్ర అనే మహాయజ్ఞము మొదలుపెట్టారు. పేదలబాగుకోసం, బడుగుల మంచికోసం, సకల జనుల సంక్షేమ మహాయాగానికి నాడు ఆయన ఆజ్యం పోశారు. అయన ఈ పాదయాత్ర ఒక కాంగ్రెస్ సైనికునిగా, నాయకునిగా, పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షునిగా ప్రారంభించారు. ఆ తర్వాత అయన కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని అధికారంలోకి తీసుకువచ్చి ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా చిరస్థాయిగా ప్రజల గుండెల్లో నిలిచిపోయారు. మరి అటువంటి తండ్రికి కుమారునిగా, పార్టీ పేరులో అయన పేరును పొందుపర్చి మీరు నేడు చేస్తున్నది ఏమిటి? ఆజన్మాంతం పేదలు, దళితులు, మైనారిటీలు, మహిళలు, రైతులు, ఎస్టీలు, వీరి కోసం తపించి, తన పాలనలో వీరికోసం ఎన్నో పధకాలను రచించిన అయన ఎక్కడ, నేడు ఫాసిస్టు శక్తులకు తలవంచి వాళ్ళ క్యాపిటలిస్టు పోకడలకు దాసోహం అయిన మీరెక్కడ? లౌకికవాదాన్ని తన ఊపిరిలో నింపుకుని, అన్ని వర్గాలవారిని సమానంగా ఆదరించి, ప్రజల ఐక్యత కోసం పాటుపడింది వైఎస్సార్, మరి అయన తనయునిగా మీరు నేడు చేస్తున్నది ఏమిటి? మతోన్మాద బీజేపీ దగ్గర కేసులకు, రాజకీయ భవిత కోసం భయపడి మోకరిల్లడం. ఇది ఎంత వరకు ధర్మం? బీజేపీ ప్రతి చర్యలో దళిత, మైనారిటీ వ్యతిరేక పోకడలు ఉన్నాయ్. వక్ఫ్ చట్టం అయితేనేమి, దళిత క్రిస్టియన్ రిజర్వేషన్లు ఐతేనేమి, FCRA చట్టం అయితేనేమి, బుల్ డోజర్ రాజకేయాలితేనేమి. వీటన్నిటికి గల్లీలో మౌనం వహించి, ఢిల్లీలో బేషరతు మద్దత్తు ప్రకటించిన మీరా అయనకు నివాళి అర్పించేది ఇవాళ? అయనబతికుంటే ఇవి హర్షించేవారా? ఇది అయన ఆదర్శాలకు, అభిమతాలు పూర్తి వ్యతిరేకం కదా? ఇక మీ అయిదేళ్ల పాలనలో సభ్యసమాజం సిగ్గుపడేలా దళితుల మీద, మహిళల మీద జరిగిన దాడులు, చివరికి మైనార్టీల మీద కూడా జరిగిన అక్రమాలు, ఇవన్నీ రాజశేఖర రెడ్డిగారి ఆత్మ క్షోభించే పనులు కాదంటారా? అణువణువునా రాజశేఖర రెడ్డిగారి పాలనకు, ఆలోచనలకూ భిన్న ధృవంగా ఉంటూ మీరు ఇవాళ అయన పాదయాత్రను తల్చుకుని నివాళులు అర్పించడం హాస్యాస్పదంగా ఉంది. మొన్న ప్రకటించినట్టు మీరు చేయాల్సింది పాదయాత్ర కాదు, ఆత్మవిమర్శన యాత్ర

A former CM of Andhra Pradesh constructed a sea-facing mansion project worth ~₹500 crore, reportedly using public funds. The project was built on a 10-acre plot.
