Can’t say I always agreed with Austin’s decisions but damn, he was a real leader. Not sure how this TV host is supposed to understand anything he is walking into.

This is why these DEl conversations are funny to me. The BIack guy had to be a Brigade commander, Division commander, Corps commander, MuIti-NationaI Corps Commander, United States Forces Commander, Vice Chief of Staff of Army, United States CentraI Commander, get awarded the SiIver Star, and be a four star GeneraI to even be considered for the Secretary of Defense. MeanwhiIe the other guy just had to be in the Army....SMDH

I was in the Jittery Joes on the east side of Athens when my 5 year old said "Dad, won't the new FinCEN BOI requirement sweep up so many individuals and small businesses that FinCENT will have to divert scarce resources to policing non-compliance hindering their ability to pursue financial crimes? How is this not the type of policy failure Gupta (2011) warned us about?" The DJ paused his playlist and the place fell silent. I said "you know why." After a long pause his voice quavering he said "because the legislation failed to set up a process to adequately assess marginal costs and benefits?" "Exactly." Everyone clapped. We then went home and ate an entire sleeve of McVities Dark Chocolate Biscuits.

Does every professional band out there realize they most likely need to register beneficial ownership with the Fed's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network by Jan 1st 2025. There are some exceptions, but it looks like of my 5 companies 4 need to register. The fines are like hundreds of dollars a day. Check with your CPA and/or Attorney.
