We recently submitted recommendations to @IFC_org/@MIGA on how to strengthen their proposed ‘Approach to Remedial Action’ for communities harmed by their investments. Bottom line: it needs a lot of improvement. More here & in 🧵:

My questions to @Diop_IFC: 1) Why did IFC sign an NDA with its client binding @CAOoffice in the middle of an investigation of child sexual abuse? 2) Will IFC now assume the litigation risk so CAO can complete this investigation? 3) Will IFC commit to never do this again?
