Just finished Shut That Door by @tonynicholson52 about Larry Grayson. A wonderful, touching book with some amazing stories. There’s something magical about those old pros, who learned their craft in clubs and small theatres.

@benschott I did indeed sell a diamond in late 2001 @benschott in Hatton Garden. The shop I bought it from refused to buy it back. Went to every other store and eventually sold it at a significant loss.

@nickstatt I totally disagree. The TV landscape is designed for people to watch whenever. Many people will be turned onto the show after the GG. I’m pleased for her but this has just spoiled a week of increaingly intense viewing and speculation. Such a shame.
