@kubaok_ @BirnoOCE COD is 4 and still allows duo queue. The point is to still let players have fun in a competitive environment. Letting them play with at least one friend. They could even just lower the entry cost for solos. Why cater to just one side? Or add crossplay and make two different modes

@randomacc7897 @BirnoOCE The team size is 3 instead of 5 like the games you mentioned so it makes sense to allow 1 or 3 only but not duo. In CS and Valo(?) you can't play 4 stack.

I'm all for solo Q ranked at high ranks, it's a W BUT It does mean high skill players who want to play with mates are in a weird spot now - You have to play pubs - Pubs are boring - Q's will be long - SBMM will be cranked - People going to complain about stacking in pubs Also on a side note, I enjoy chilln in ranked with mates, there's needs to be some form of middle ground ALSO forced solo should start at higher than diamond 4, cos the average diamond 4 has the skill level of a gold

@Night_Rodd @BirnoOCE It should be duo queue for diamonds/masters and solo for pred at the very least. Most masters are not going for pred. I'd rather not reach masters and quit because I can't play with my friends.

@BirnoOCE Solo queue should start at Masters and up. Let Masters and Preds fight for Pred in solo queue. That actually makes sense. I’m sure PC and console can handle both solo ranked and normal ranked at the same time. Idk why they’d need to kill the current system to add it.

@ApexLiveComms It needs to be duo queue like other competitive games. Solo queue only will kill ranked for many. BRs are repetitive by nature. Playing with friends is what keeps it not as stale. Plus, this is a team based game.. this change would make more sense for pubs.

@lilcashcache I can climb with randoms i just won't do it ever again. The first time I ever got masters was solo queue. It was like watching paint dry and made me want to bash my head against a wall. This is a team based game. It makes ZERO sense for it to be solo queue only.

Most are pissed about this. Pred 1, 2 and 3 roll you because they're actually playing as a team unlike the randoms put together.

Plus, the viewership has declined because people don't want to see Pro #1, #2 and #3 roll lobbies again and again. This is just a win win situation, for most at least.

@HYPERMYSTx If you don’t think this is a bad update. You don’t understand gaming. Playing with friends is what it is all about. I play with my wife and now I won’t be allowed because I hit D4 while she’s typically P2-P1? This will kill the game if they don’t change it to masters only. Horrid

@HYPERMYSTx look at all the people that are used to getting carried by their friends raging in the chat box, if you can't solo ranked you don't deserve your rank solo ranked will make balancing lobbies way easier

You can easily text in the chat while playing. In apex 70% dont use their mics and the game is too fast paced to text constantly

@CHRLMTC @HYPERMYSTx If they would just add crossplay and lower consoles aim assist down to PCs, they could do this easily. Hundreds of thousands on steam and millions on console (Playstation leaked their top weekly games, apex is at 1.7 million weekly players).

You need to actually play WITH a team and have actual synergy together. There is literally no way to gain that experience now unless you're already a pro.

@iiTzTimmy If horizon and octane jump pad can't have perfect accuracy while using their abilities, neither should axles or any teammates/enemy who takes her tac. That and lower ult health.

@KmactiveTV Or people who actually have friends. I have solo que to masters. It wasn't fun, and more than half of the time, nobody would use their mics. It needs to at least be duo que. BRs are repetitive. Not ever being allowed to play with your friends again takes most of the fun away.

Where you find a group and improve as a team. That change would make more sense for pubs.. not ranked.
