In order to meet the State's load shedding requirements for today's Stage 3 Flex Art, our Electric Operations team has had to shut down power for about 1700 customers in Midtown, Old Palo Alto, and Industrial Park. We expect to have power restored by about 9.

Another @mercnews reporter detained, even after identifying as press, by @SFPD. These curfew, and general access, exemptions for press are not anything we lobbied for. They're a recognition of the role we play in informing the public. They're your own damn rules. Follow them.

In case you're not keeping track, two @mercnews employees were lawfully covering protests in San Jose & San Francisco tonight, & despite identifying themselves as press, one was forcefully told to get on the ground and threatened with a baton, the other was zip-tied and searched
