BATO DELA ROSA'S CAMP SURRENDERS 20 FIREARMS TO PNP UPDATE: A legal representative of Senator Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa surrendered 20 of the lawmaker's firearms last week, the Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed. The turnover follows the PNP’s decision last month to revoke the firearm licenses of Dela Rosa, whom the Department of Justice (DOJ) earlier labeled a fugitive from justice. “The firearms were voluntarily turned over from the residence associated with Senator Ronald M. Dela Rosa in Barangay Maa, Davao City, through his authorized legal representative,” the PNP said in a statement released Friday, June 12.

Who si liable? As parents we always want the best for our children. We want them to experience and enjoy what life has to offer. School is like their second home and we put our trust in the institution not only to teach them how to be productive and hopefully be successful but more importantly to teach them how to be Godly. We don’t normally mind the field trips because we know our kids will love them as they will have new experiences. The thing that I’m not so comfortable with is signing a “waiver.” Why? The school is responsible for educating our kids but is not responsible for their safety? I don’t understand!!! I’m externally emotional about this because I am a mother and I am sure all mother’s would agree that even if we sue those that are responsible for any tragedy—— a loved one’s life has been lost and will never be returned. We empathize with the parents of those who lost their beloved sons in the recent tragedy and our hearts and prayers go out to them.
