The impact of out-of-hours elective surgery: is it worth the risk?
Is surgeon fatigue or operating team fatigue the higher risk factor?
Given the diurnal variation in platelets and clotting factor activation, will we see more customised timing of surgical procedures with higher bleeding risks?
