There are plenty of reasons to hate John Cornyn: - He epitomizes bureaucracy and The Swamp. 98% of his donations are from out-of-state corporations, PACs, and special interests. - He sabotaged Trump repeatedly and hates MAGA. - He's a pro-war, America Last, Neocon. - He loves big-spending and pork. - His voting record is atrocious. But hopefully, here's one reason everyone can agree on: He's a crook. Look no further than COLONY RIDGE - a 33,000 acre development in North Houston that supports and exploits illegal immigration. How do they get away with it? By bribing John Cornyn for protection. Colony Ridge is a magnet for illegal immigrants, human trafficking, drug dealing, and prostitution, and broadly-speaking, is a no-go zone for law enforcement.  It is also a predatory lending scheme. They offer 100% financing to people with no credit or documentation at ~12% interest for substandard lots (near flood zones) and houses without water, electricity and sewer. After a buyer makes necessary improvements, and then invariably falls behind on payments, they foreclose and then repeat the process. Since 2012, Colony Ridge has reacquired 45% percent of the 35,000-plus properties it has sold. John Cornyn is garbage.
