新しい論文が刊行されました。@sdpick @MartinEjnar との共著で、日英両国で一貫して、オーガニック食品への支払い意思や、品質の評価に、政府への信頼やリスクを受容する態度が関わっていることを論じるものです。 link.springer.com/article/10.100…

He really was one of the great raconteurs, anecdotalists & storytellers, so here’s the late great PETER USTINOV doing what he did so brilliantly on AN AUDIENCE WITH PETER USTINOV (1988)

🇯🇵🇰🇵 Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi criticizes our national broadcaster, NHK, who take money from Japanese citizens and then report left-leaning news. She has asked them to bring up the issue of hostages kidnapped by communist North Korea numerous times. NHK still refuses to do so.

Resident doctors are striking again. My research with @MartinEjnar shows strikes by medical workers have high levels of public support, shaped strongly by trust in the NHS and political identity. Right-leaning and Conservative voters are less supportive. trusttracker.org/pb_main.php?pb…

‘Many of us have gone from having Radio 4 as the background murmur to our lives to not giving a damn what happens to the BBC’. Penetratingly true. This is not a Right-wing coup. The British Brainwashing Corporation is reaping what it sowed telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/11/1…

It's clear from Lisa Nandy that it doesn't matter HOW BAD the BBC is, Labour will always speak highly of them and ensure we will always have to pay for it. Why know why. Because Labour agree with them The BBC think they're untouchable This is why they're institutionally biased

🧵 While the BBC remains fairly well trusted overall and one of the most trusted media sources in the country, it the broadcaster has an image problem with Reform voters who are much less likely than average to say they trust the broadcaster and are split between trust/distrust
