This was one of the most asked-for features; users kept telling us the same thing: “Why is checking and iterating on a URDF still such a pain?” So we built it into OORB Studio: drag in a full assembly or individual parts, render instantly, edit XML live, convert URDF <-> MJCF, sync it with the workspace and sim, and use the agent to make changes directly. It was a real pleasure meeting @GabrieleTin and spending time thinking through this together. He's sharp, thoughtful, and genuinely driven about hard technical problems. The core idea is simple: you can clone a robotics repo, but you still can’t reliably clone the full behavior of the robot. Too much of the real system still lives across sim config, hardware assumptions, launch files, runtime params, and tribal knowledge. That gap is a big part of why we’re building OORB.IO Studio.
