On days like this I am reminded that the art of becoming rich slowly is an underrated skill.
In the stock market, so much of the focus is on money that we forget about everything else it teaches us:
Patience.
Mental fortitude.
The ability to withstand shocks without abandoning your plan.
The ability to recover from mistakes and keep moving forward.
Sometimes the most valuable thing compounding isn't your portfolio.
It's your character.
