@Tusk_4Real Do it. No joke, but the $13 or so I pay every month for Premium YT is one of the best investments I ever made. I too watch videos a lot for research or entertainment, maybe a video pod or two, plus I use YT music as my music app -- no ads, saving hours of time.

Elon has dug himself into a hole here. He has long poo-pooed lidar sensors, calling them a "clutch". In text messages with Electrek back in 2021, when Tesla was transitioning to vision only and Elon was still talking to us, he admitted that "high resolution radar plus vision is safer than vision." He just couldn't find a good enough high-res radar, but that's basically a lidar sensor albeit using light rather than radio waves. It feels like he is holding Tesla back here while many automakers are now adding cheap lidar sensors to their vehicles.

@engineers_feed Also, buy a replacement capacitor for the current one that will inevitably fail on the hottest day of the year. It’s the #1 thing that fails and is easy to swap out.

Hi @MayorOfLA I’ve been walking the closed section of Mulholland every Sunday since Feb. Of the 4 slides 2 smaller ones are done. 2 larger ones just need filling but seem to have stalled. Loads of expensive rented plant lying around which I hope you’re not paying for by the day.

@JustMacaluso @RateYourCharge On the map in a Tesla at a supercharger it typically shows a number in a red circle for how many stalls are available in real time. If things are really bad it turns into a black clock indicating you may have to wait.

@spannertech @RateYourCharge I probably just need to learn the cars navigation better but when it auto-routes you to a supercharger where do you even see how many stalls should be available?
