@thatAIEngineer @TFTC21 "Although I work for myself personally." - so you don't know. You've read some kid bullshitting about 500k comp on Reddit and came to this conclusion. "Internal hires" isn't some magic word - nobody is paying 500k unless for principle/lead/CTO positions at Google.

Jensen Huang: "If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I am going to be deeply alarmed. This is no different than a chip designer who says 'I'm just going to use paper and pencil. I don't think I'm going to need any CAD tools.'"

@Cobratate Lmao. I hear you, but having skills - it makes it easy man. I’m a fully qualified and established software / ai engineer, and running my own business! I’m doing really okay. But that’s because I laid foundations, and didn’t play the cheap way.

@ChebzReal @TFTC21 These are internal hires you moron. Nobody outsources high level software engineers - they are long standing members tied to a product // certain operations. Clearly you are an engagement bot, or a moron. Because you are not reading. Just typing.. tk tk tk

@thatAIEngineer @TFTC21 I'm just hearing vague opinions. Not hearing any facts. Go on LinkedIn, job search, software engineer. Let me know how many jobs you find over 200k. Senior or otherwise. Real jobs, not some fake cybercoders links.

@thatAIEngineer @TFTC21 Go on LinkedIn and look through job postings. Let me know how many software jobs you find even remotely in that range lmao. Standard wage is $120k

@ChebzReal @TFTC21 I’m a software engineer - this is very standard wage when in the corporate scene for a few years, from many possible companies. Although I work for myself personally.

@TFTC21 What world do these people live in? What engineers make $500k a year? Their number is so small it's irrelevant to use them as any data point.

@MichelleRempel I’m right here. Artificial intelligence with a successful startup. You won’t help me out at all though - will you, Canada?

🇨🇦 Engineers behind AI were educated in Ontario OpenAI: Co-Founder Ilya Sutskever (UofT) xAI: Co-founders Elon Musk (Queen's), Zhang Guodong (UofT) and Zihang Dai (UofT) In 10 years we'll all agree failing to attract them to build in Ontario is our biggest policy failure ever.

“I care about one thing and one thing only: that the 18, 19, 20, year old kid—who had no choice in where he went, or what threat he was facing—I want him to win and come home. That’s why we do it. Palantir is very helpful in delivering this.” Cameron Stanley, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer of the Department of War, shares how the DoW is driving enterprise-wide adoption of data, analytics, and AI to generate decision advantage—and what it takes to move cutting-edge technology from the lab to the warfighter at speed.

@_Abides_ @thatAIEngineer @Icy_911 @My_Bebeps @PalantirTech Exactly right on the architecture. The Ai sits on top of a clean and structured ontology layer. I’m building a similar early stage stack for a sovereign buyer; same ontology/analytical logic but for a different environment

@thatAIEngineer @Icy_911 @My_Bebeps @PalantirTech I don't see the AI because it would be behind the UI. The UI is what I see and I love it. Plenty of use cases for maps in planning. I'm sure there is a topography option for example. Maybe with a weather overlay and that could be enhanced by real time data + predictive AI, idk.

@Supersi48617376 @GhostofKerry @MarkJCarney Idk. I’d have a conversation with anyone, any day. Standing behind my decisions, and explaining so clearly. I feel like such an approach fosters growth/learning/understanding? I’m confident in my reasonings, and not scared to hide behind them - so why not? lol. Good day.

@thatAIEngineer @Icy_911 @My_Bebeps @PalantirTech It doesn't look like an AI model. From what I've seen so far they have a workflow built into a kanban and then a gis system with map layers. I like the UI which is simple and seems well organized.

@Supersi48617376 @GhostofKerry @MarkJCarney Why has stifling debate and conversation become such a norm these days? Saddest thing is, you’re probably double my age and half my intellect.. Respectfully asked a question, you’ve dodged twice, and have shown nothing is in that empty head of yours. Sorry for wasting my time.

@_Abides_ @Icy_911 @My_Bebeps @PalantirTech Agreed, I mean it’s honestly just a control layer on top of AI models. It would be something that I’d be interested in pursuing - however it’s just not worth my time sadly lmao. I need to eat 😂

@thatAIEngineer @Icy_911 @My_Bebeps @PalantirTech I don't know what they are doing in the backend so I wouldn't comment on it. Publicly available data like mapping data or building footprint is something you can already work with.

@Icy_911 @My_Bebeps @PalantirTech sorry let me rephrase: "the frontend UI and data displayed is not a major secret. even I can wireframe the user experience and source the data we see on display here. our adversaries can do this easily as well". there, are you happy? are you happy now you bastard?
