I listened to the Pierre/Rogan ep. He took a positive Can/US relations message onto the biggest US pod while asserting Cdn sovereignty. He was engaging and on message over 2+ hrs. Anyone who has done political pods knows this was tough. He stuck the landing. Respect.

I expect the Liberals will eventually adopt this unimpeachable policy as their own. I can at least engage with an argument that certain sentences shouldn't mean deportation in every case. I cannot engage with an argument that sentences should be reduced to avoid deportation.

Hire Canadian. Abolish the TFW program. Stop issuing hundreds of thousands of new foriegn student work permits when millions on expired visas remain Canada. Remove non-citizens in Canada whose visa has expired. Consider the impact of AI / weak economy in immigration levels.

Non-citizens convicted of serious crimes have been getting lenient sentences by judges to avoid deportation. My law would change that. This Liberal MP said there's "no evidence" the law is needed. No wonder Canada's immigration consensus has crumbled.
