My son died. I know he didn't contribute anything to mankind — he was only two months old — but I like to believe he was destined to do something good for humanity. It's been a while since his death, and I hate to dwell on it so publicly, but I wanted you to know him.

This morning, we cradled our daughter as she took her final breath. Sasha lay in our arms, weary from a battle no child should ever have to fight. Cancer stole her strength, but it could never dim her light.
In her final moments, there was peace in her eyes and love in every breath she drew. She left this world the same way she lived—wrapped in love, held close, just as she whispered, “Hold me tight.”
Though she is no longer in our arms, she will live forever in our hearts.

My mother fell and hit her head; they found she had bleeding on the brain. She is now effectively brain dead with no hope of recovery.
Surgery could save her life, but would be saving a vegetable. My mother has basically passed away and I'm having a hard time right now.

My mom is moving in with us next week, and we’ve been working so hard to get her room ready. It used to be my kids’ playroom, and they gave it up without hesitation to make space for their grandma. The room was in pretty rough shape, but we’ve cleaned it up and made it cozy for her.
Even though the room is ready, I still feel like something is missing to make it extra special. Any ideas? It's important for the room to feel cozy and safe for her to really get better.

Just met a wonderful woman named Beth who is under treatment for pancreatic cancer. Felt an overwhelming desire to pray over her in the terminal.
I then told her I could likely get 1,000 prayers?

Really disappointed @UPS subsidiary…. the UPS store was 2 days late w/ our very clearly marked & paid for box for Saturday delivery. What’s worse?

I had a major PTSD meltdown tonight.
Years ago our oldest daughter died in horrific violent circumstances. Some news articles trigger my PTSD. I took sedatives & plenty of wine while my dog leaned on me until I stop weeping. Tough night. Thoughts, prayers, & vibes please. 💔

I could use prayer right now. I was unloading the dishwasher when my feet got tangled up and I fell. I ripped off the top rack of the dishwasher. I have cuts on my finger, head and elbow. The bleeding is slowing down, but I’m terribly bruised up. Requesting prayers, Saints. Love Anna.
