@scottwernerd Agreed. I have found that I am not completely rebuilding entire SaaS platforms, just the bits that solve my particular problems in ways that work for me. Having Claude write the 10% of the SaaS app that I actually use and tweak it for me is perfect.

Yeah I wrote about that a bit this week, instead of signing up for a free plan on an error tracking SaaS for a new MVP, I just used a simple prompt and had Claude write the ~50 lines to email me all errors.

The risk to the traditional SAAS model isn’t that users will vibe code their own solutions to every problem. It’s every other company can also do so, and that if you have AI you might not need some pieces of SAAS in the first place.
