@bjmoe0201 @timjacobwise Christianity CREATES pedos and gay hating people.
English

@timjacobwise I think one factor is conservative Christians are so obsessed with purity and shaming any kind of sexual thoughts, that they attract pedophiles or self-hating gays who try to "fix themselves." I think another is the forbidden becomes enticing when you're shamed

All this Duggar pedophile stuff makes one wonder: are sexual deviants just naturally drawn to Christo-fascism or does Christo-fascism cause sexual deviance through religious/sexual repression? Chicken? Egg? We need to know.

Holy fuck, y’all. This is from the book that Amy Duggar King wrote. She is talking about her Grandpa Duggar 👀
English

@timjacobwise This an extremely simple concept. The duggars are forced into Christianity at birth, the duggars are not forced to rape their siblings. Does that make sense? There is no possible way to dumb this down anymore.

She got arrested for a situation SEPERATE from her husband's situation but her charges are still serious. They're for endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment. This makes me think there's dark stuff happening in their compound and the police are paying attention.

@EruditeTogether @jcarole If you’re not judging then why call it a sin? If not holding non believers to your same standard of beliefs how can they be committing sin? …. Oh, religion 🤡
English

Just to clarify, I do not judge others sins if they do not claim to be Christians. Why would I hold someone to my moral standard that they don't subject themselves to? I believe that Jesus came into the world to save people, not condemn the world.
I feel very free to interact with those outside my faith, and accept them where they are. My really good friend is a practicing pagan. Do I believe it is a sin? Yes, but she doesn't claim Christ. I enjoy her company and love her immensely.

It needs to be addressed because apparently people think I am in the weeds on this issue.
I hold to a traditional Christian sexual ethic. That means I believe marriage is between one man and one woman. I am not progressive related to any LGBTQ+ issue.
With that said I do see the inherent value and worth of those in the LGBTQ+ community. I support their right to safety, to not be discriminated against, to live out their lives without government intervention.
I have friends in the LGBTQ+ community and I want them to have lives that are free from violence. I love them, and I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my relationship with them.
I am willing to have nuanced conversations and to learn what the community has to say. I am unwilling to participate in hateful language or assume the worst about them.
You can maintain something is sin, while having a nuanced approach that focuses on compassion and love. All people have inherent dignity and worth.
