This is a good start, but River Road is long. May the spirits of the enslaved rise and burn all the concentration camps that, like Nottaway, downplay their evil. No more wedding receptions. Either confront the sickness of white supremacy or let it all burn

The only people on Earth worse than the crypto bros are the Polymarket/gambling bros. Then again, the Venn diagram for these sociopathic, talentless, greedy losers is pretty much a perfect circle
Mike Levin@MikeLevin

This is totally insane. A war correspondent just received death threats from online gamblers who wanted him to change his reporting on an Iranian missile strike so they could collect a payout. One bettor had $900,000 riding on the outcome. He told the journalist he knew where he lived and who his family members were.  This is what prediction markets on life and death actually look like in practice. This is exactly why I introduced the DEATH BETS Act with Senator @AdamSchiff. The DEATH BETS Act would ban contracts on assassinations, deaths of world leaders, and acts of war on platforms like Polymarket. This story shows exactly why that matters.  When you let people place million-dollar bets on whether a missile kills someone, you create a financial incentive to threaten journalists, manipulate information, and profit from human suffering. washingtonpost.com/technology/202…

Sebold's apology for this lie is bullshit. It was in the passive voice. She's a famous writer. She knows how to use active voice but chose to apologize "for what happened to you," not "for what I did to you." He should get all her money. ALL. OF. IT.

A white woman lies about who raped her and an innocent Black man went to jail for 16 years. While he's in jail she writes a book about it and makes millions. She should be charged with perjury. #DemsUnited

In 2024, the US murder rate was among the lowest it's been since the late 1960s, the property crime rate was the second lowest it's been since 1960, and all types of serious crime but rape were much lower than they were in the 80s. But crime fear porn dominates rightwing Twitter.

Why not just say what you mean: you think poor people, and most working class people (whose net income tax burden is negative) and elderly folks (who don’t pay net income taxes) should be stripped of the most basic right of citizenship.

While the Trump admin obsesses over "Antifa," actual designated terrorist organizations are openly recruiting on social media. Oath Keepers — convicted of SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY — announced they're relaunching. Proud Boys are building local chapters and recruiting on private apps. The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism documented militias recruiting on Instagram, posting combat training videos while framing themselves as "community defense" groups. Behind that branding: Christian nationalist rhetoric and far-right ties. globalextremism.org/post/us-irregu… Stewart Rhodes — sentenced to 18 years for seditious conspiracy — announced in November 2025 he's rebuilding the Oath Keepers. After pardons, they're not hiding anymore. theconversation.com/the-sacred-ple… Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio claims "close to a dozen" members applied to join ICE. They're not just recruiting — they're infiltrating federal law enforcement. observer.co.uk/news/internati… I see this recruitment content on Twitter/X daily. Combat training videos. "Community defense" dog whistles. Calls to "stand ready." Where's the FBI crackdown on THIS? Oh right — the admin halted domestic terrorism warnings. The threat isn't Antifa. Where are their combat training videos? Where are their recruitment drives for armed citizens? Anti-Fa isn't the threat, it's the excuse for the real threat to exist.

So, um, @elonmusk, looks like your South African brethren are returning to SA because the "white genocide" isn't apparently as bad as Trump's economy. LOL. What fragile little snowflakes you Boers are.

The @Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank, is out with a major new research study showing that immigrants, both legal and illegal, contribute significantly more in taxes than they receive in public benefits. And there's more: because immigrants (both legal and not) are such large net-contributors of tax revenue, they also structurally reduce government budget deficits.
