Feature request for @typefully - make "Auto RT" checkbox "off" state a single click, without opening a separate popup, and only open the popup if toggling it to On.

@typefully Hej @typefully, I messed up selecting the right audio input source for the feature. I resetted my page data and everything but can't re-select the audio input source. Do you store anything locally in that regard, which I might have to delete?

I’ve been using this for the last weeks and it is REALLY good! I can just record a voice note with an idea, transcribe it and give it to the Writing Assistant and it turns it into a thread in my style. This used to cost me 1-2 hours before

Sorry about the confusion here! When you sign in with multiple authentication methods, Typefully creates separate accounts, even if they share the same email address. That’s why you’re seeing multiple accounts. If you’d like, feel free to DM us via chat support and we can help you sort it out. Thanks for pointing it out. 💙

Sorry @typefully - I have 7-8 accounts because it when I sign in with a different provider but same email you don't merge them😅

Thanks for the clarification! If you’re looking to cross-post quote tweets as embedded posts to platforms like LinkedIn or Threads, this isn’t supported yet. Typefully currently supports sharing the link to the quoted post, not the embedded quote outside of X.
That said, the quote link disappearing on other platforms isn’t expected. If you’re seeing that happen, please message us via chat support so we can take a closer look.

I am currently looking for an alternative Typefully (which I love!) just due to that one issue.
We quote tweet, so can't use Typefully to cross-post.

@typefully Other platforms. When I take the time to use your software my X threads are at their best, but the cross post breaks with quote tweets.

Exactly right! The quote tweets just vanish from the non-Twitter threads.
Our threads are largely based around quote tweets, so we only publish to Twitter (which sucks).

A few hours ago someone posted a pumpfun link from my account..
im still trying to figure out how that even happened.
checked my sessions and logins.. nothing suspicious there.
never clicked any weird links either and the only apps I had connected were:
- Typefully, TradingView and DeForm
if anyone has seen something like this before or knows how to investigate it properly, let me know.
would really appreciate the help.
and yeah, i did some digging on chain who is creator of that pumpfun token and from X search it's pointing out to this guy shared in the image

There has been no Typefully data breach. Our systems are continuously monitored and regularly audited.
The most common ways X accounts get compromised:
- Session hijacking via phishing (doesn't show up in active sessions)
- Malicious Chrome extensions with broad page permissions
- Compromised OAuth tokens from other connected apps
Revoke all connected apps, regenerate your X credentials, and enable 2FA or passkeys if you haven't. Feel free to DM us if you want us to look into anything on our end.

I gave @FromEarendel X API access days ago. Every once in a while, it still forgets that it doesn't have to draft things in Typefully for me to publish (our old setup).
"Drop Typefully from your consciousness," actually worked. Lol
