@TheMaran To set the record straight, Typefully has NOT been hacked, but one of Union’s X accounts might have been, and that's used to log into Typefully. We’ve also offered to help, but these type of attacks don’t have anything to do with third party schedulers most of the time.

𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 $4800 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 today union build's official x account was compromised by a bad actor the hacker used typefully (a tool famously used by x creators to schedule posts) which union uses the hacker got partial access to union x account via typefully and used the access to DM people the hacker gave them a big offer, i mean, who hates a $1200 per week payment the hacker then asked people to schedule a call via calendly things are going to get interesting here the hacker then asks us to join the call by installing pc software, not possible on mobile as soon as you install the software, boom the hacker gets full access to your pc he will take your seed phrase, your hard earned money and all your personal details we all know union down bad, I never thought they will allow their account to be compromised this easily big projects shouldn't rely on third party software to make their posts the union founder addressed this problem a few hours later, after the scammer started sending the message

@typefully Pretty easy - make a post, someone comments on post, want to see and respond to that comment on post Now extend this to each channel - doesn't need a unified inbox, but needs a single place with everything present

What should we use instead of Buffer? Need three things: 1. Scheduling posts across platforms 2. Responding to comments on posts 3. Analytics (nothing fancy) Love Typefully but it doesn't have comments (and limited networks) Similar issue with Hypefury What's better?

my take is that any AI writing feature for X is a nice-to-have feature at best this isn't a dig at @typefully, I love their scheduling and analytics these features just aren't there yet and I haven't found another platform that performs any better in this space. including superx (@robj3d3 )

most X growth tools are garbage it's not they they don't help with consistency or admin...they do but most of them focus on using AI to write tweets or replies which usually don't land tbh here is one of my best performing tweets. i'm going to experiment live in this thread with @typefully, which I use only for scheduling and analytics now
