@RedNinetyFour Bro said Jalen is a dud. Sabonis is a 3x all star. It isn’t as great of an accomplishment you guys try to make it. And he was an alternate this year.. Jalen never got a fair chance with this fan base. Sad too. He might actually be special. And he would’ve worked with KD 🤷🏽‍♂️

Everyone is piling on Alpi right now and he was horrible and if this continues, I’d say it’s probably 50/50 at least that he’s gone this offseason. But he was just a diamond in the rough that blossomed into an All-Star unexpectedly and the team rightfully leaned in. The real issue is that the three 60 loss seasons didn’t yield a franchise player: Jalen was a dud, Jabari is at best a nice role player, and it’s anyone’s guess if Amen will ever develop a jumpshot. We also didn’t hit on most of our first round picks (TyTy, Garuba, Josh). Tari was a homerun and the jury is out on whether Reed was the right pick on a Udoka team. I do think this will be an elite team with Fred, Adams, and KD back next year but again, you’re left with uncertainty about the future - these guys were supposed to just be the bridge, not the team itself as appears to be the case. You’re left hoping Amen develops a shot (really not sure how realistic this is) or that you hit on a trade or one of these premium picks that are coming. I doubt Tilman has the stomach for another rebuild.
