I've never seen an offense that is basically give it to the center on the wing and get out of the way. If Sengun isnt trying to do SOMETHING the offense just devolves into a bunch of pointless dribbling

@akaChrisx @flackosingh Reed and Sengun aren't sharing the court together much for "defensive reasons" He's probably out there with Amen, Bari, Tate, and Tari Funny thing, no one looks good in this offense & somehow Sengun is the topic of conversation & not the architect of the offense

@flackosingh @cdhthegreat He’s also playing with guys like KD & Reed who are great shooters so like whats your point, Sengun needs a full rotation of 40% 3pt shooters just to be functional?

I would like to see sengun on a team with proper spacing and good guard play before labeling him as such, but maybe that's just me.

@lonelycowboy92 @krbashrob Agreed. The overall conversation about the state of the team has the same issue. You cannot assess the players without a functional system. Sengun may be super mid but this system isn't doing him ANY favors

@cdhthegreat Sengun is bad regardless of who’s around him that’s the issue. You can’t be bad around the rim, be a turnover machine, a bad and unwilling shooter AND a defensive liability. Like, there has to be SOME redeeming quality other than the occasional good inside move to layup.

Is Sengun so inefficient because the offensive system is bad or is the offensive system so bad because Sengun is inefficient? That's the fundamental argument about the Rockets over the last three years.

@AbdulMu079 @AbelGe87 Actually... the offense would work so much better if Sengun was asked to post up. Game 1 bro was asked to take defenders off the dribble in iso.

@AbelGe87 All of these discussions are not helping. Each of these players is not being put in situations to succeed. AMEN loves to drive, Sengun loves to post up. Those 2 things don't work well

I wish the Rockets drafted better players with their 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, and 4th overall picks instead of trying to paint a flyer 16th pick like the problem when he is the one that's most amounted to anything out of the bunch, Amen would be helpless without Kd and Alpi's gravity
