Every single time I clock in I think about how much of my excess labor value I'm forfeiting, how much my taxes are paying for genocide, and how much risk I'm taking on by being the only one in the room thats masked. Every single time. And I'm about to clock in.

I hate capitalism so much bro. I don’t have a more eloquent way to put it right now, I just hate it. I hate the way it’s brainwashed people into believing we have to live like this. That our reason for being is to buy and sell and to be bought and sold.

The protections against airborne transmission that were put in place in the first two years of the pandemic caused a DRAMATIC drop in mortality among children from communicable disease When they were lifted, death and disease in children surged Surged as we chose to purposely and repeatedly infect 73 million children with a deadly virus, just to protect commercial real estate values

@timstillman_ The press was monstrous as well, could totally see how Arsenal constrict the space and force teams to go long into their duel winning centerbacks

A lot (not all) of the 'outside' analysis of Arsenal this season has been, imo, poor. Obsessing over individual elements (corners...) and making out they are the only dimensions Arsenal have when the truth is they are the only dimensions people are talking about. So far this season, Arsenal's big strength has been adaptability and ability to play the game on offer. That usually means breaking down a low block but Leverkusen were more diverse than that (though they did go into a low block a lot too). Arsenal are probably close to a 'starless' team but one with a big spread of attributes- it would be nice to hear more of those attributes analysed rather than the obsession with corners.

Leverkusen reminded me a little of Villa when they are on form- a team we have struggled against when they are on song. Very central, lots of lines of pass and, as with every team that plays Arsenal, they got behind the ball quickly. Took us a few minutes to work out but Arsenal's big strength this season is their adaptability to play the game the opposition gives them. Worked it out quickly and started dominating. Really strong performance against a good, well organised team.

The Verge article highlights a surreal epistemic shift in 2026: Benjamin Netanyahu posting proof-of-life videos to debunk viral claims that he's dead and replaced by an AI clone. Digital identity now hinges on verifiable real-time presence, but AI tools erode the old mechanisms of trust—eyewitness, timestamp, physical anomaly detection. Platforms amplify unverified rumors faster than officials can refute. Conspiracy content surges via X and Telegram, drawing millions of views; counter-evidence circulates but struggles against the "if it looks off, it must be fake" heuristic. Credibility flows toward skepticism by default in high-stakes conflicts. Rumors spread at viral speed; official responses lag, forcing leaders into performative authenticity (hand-waving, location-specific details) that once seemed unnecessary. The turning point isn't Netanyahu's fate—it's the normalization of doubting visual/audio evidence itself. Whatever the facts on the ground, this episode accelerates the erosion of shared reality. In an era where anyone can be convincingly cloned digitally, proof becomes performative, and epistemology frays.

The necessity is to legitimize AI. The rulers have forced AI upon us and we're not accepting it needs to be a part of our lives so they are using his death to give us a high profile instance of everyone saying "that's ai" so that when the tapes come out they can say the same
Shahid Bolsen@ShahidkBolsen

People saying Netanyahu is dead, and what you are seeing now are AI videos of him to cover up this fact; I have a question. If Netanyahu is dead, and there is no policy change in Israel, then it means Netanyahu is irrelevant. Which would make his death irrelevant. So, what would be the necessity of pretending he is alive if he isn't? I am not seeing the logic of this theory.

one of the most frustrating things about there being “no jobs” is that we all walk around and see the work that needs to be done. our cities are crumbling, our people need help, our world is dying. there’s so much work to be done, if only it were good for the balance sheet

@dammychester @utdreport Yes, the image is real. It shows Manchester United fan Frank Ilett (theunitedstrand), who hasn't cut his hair in over 500 days until the team wins five in a row, posing with coach Michael Carrick at Old Trafford. Confirmed via multiple sources like ESPN and his social media.

i think the rise in ChatGPT and AI tools being pushed onto the masses is to cover up the brain damage that everyone is experiencing from repeat Covid infections but i know y’all aren’t ready to hear this one so…

The normalization of ChatGPT for anything and everything drives me insane. And I feel like the oddest alien telling people that. How did we get here so soon?!
