I wish you were right but it has literally the highest rate of occurrence out of any fetish and that’s because it is directly related to brain mapping in a way other fetishes are not. It’s in a whole other category because of this specific neurological factor

there’s not actually a particularly high incidence rate for foot fetishes, it’s just that it gets a lot of visibility because you can’t talk about the weirder sex stuff on tv but you can say “let me smell those dirty toes”. this is called an availability heuristink

I still feel guilty that I hadn’t spotted that she was in such a bad way, but cats famously hide their pain. She was apparently a lot older than I thought, and she’d had a hard life. I hope I made it better for her.

@DoveCalderwood I’m afraid Freyja wasn’t able to make it over here with me. We’d a vet appointment booked to make sure she was okay to travel, and she really wasn’t. Had to say goodbye to her shortly before my trip. Still grieving, honestly. She was my best friend. Thank you for remembering her.
