@Shaun_Chi9729 @WestJet It's not that price but even if it was, WestJet, as a private business with lots of competition out there, can charge whatever price they want. If it's too expensive they will notice the empty seats and lower the price.

@EastcoastLaurie @AmericaPapaBear @AngryCitizenxx What film? It's not the 80s, there is no film involved. Maybe recording or capturing video.

@AmericaPapaBear @AngryCitizenxx Who is filming this and not helping the mother?

@nikitabier @TukiFromKL They can post about the US all they want but roll out the feature where we can select what regions we want to read posts from.

🚨 do you understand what New York City just accidentally admitted..
NYC spent $81,705 per homeless person last year.. the median American household earned $81,228.. the government spent MORE to keep someone homeless than most families earned to keep themselves housed..
that $81,705 isn't going to the homeless person.. it's going to the system around them.. shelters, administrators, case managers, contracts, overhead.. the industry that manages homelessness.. not the end of it..
if NYC gave every homeless person that money directly.. they could afford nearly 2 years of rent.. most of them wouldn't be homeless anymore..
instead the money goes to the system.. the system keeps running.. the homelessness stays.. and every year they ask for more funding to manage the problem that the funding was supposed to solve..
the homeless are worth $81,705 a year to the system..
they're worth nothing to it solved..

@Tablesalt13 I truly doubt it went the way. Maybe she was given information about it just in case surgery would go bad or something similar.

@kdscott10 @CalgaryPolice In Arizona, front side windows must allow over 33% (plus or minus 3%) of light in, while rear windows can be as dark as desired. Windshield: Non-reflective tint allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
English

@CalgaryPolice Just try and walk across the street when you cannot even see the driver's eyes. it is serious dangerous and the Rule of law should be imposed. Heck even in Arizona, you cannot tint your windows.
English

⚠️ On Tuesday, March 24, at approx. 3:35 p.m., our officers stopped a vehicle with mirrored tint on the windshield & limo tint on the front-side windows.
Mirrored & limo tints on windshields & front-side windows are illegal. Mirrored tints can reflect light & impair visibility for other motorists, while limo tints reduce visibility in low‑light conditions & make it harder for pedestrians to tell if a driver sees them.
The driver was issued a $105 ticket.
Clear visibility is essential for safe driving & protects everyone on the road.

@MexicoMagico ¿Todos los montos están en dólares americanos? ¿Se está usando el tiempo laborado (40 horas por semana)?

@JuliaWongCBC Flying all over for my job I haven't noticed any differences between airlines, whether seat pitch, bagage, or customer service, they are all the same. I fly Westjet, Flair, Air Canada, United, American, and Volaris in Mexico. Maybe overseas flights might be different.

Transport Canada had been warned about an “imminent safety risk” with WestJet’s reconfigured planes, weeks before social media videos of the seating layout went viral, documents obtained by CBC News say. The exclusive details here: cbc.ca/news/canada/ed…

@TonyLaneNV Also, people that run to the bathroom even before the seatbelt light comes off, even though 20 minutes ago we were inside the airport. For some reason airplane bathrooms are busier than bathrooms inside the terminal.

@CitImmCanada I don't like government funded social services but yet I would prefer my tax money go to free education and training for Canadians instead of this BS of bringing in more people.

@nikitabier Since this idea is being blocked, maybe you can implement a user implemented mechanism where we can geofence the location of the content we want to see? This way nobody complains that I personally choose to only see local content.

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X:
We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language.
While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform.
We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

@WallStreetApes New design? That's an old model. @WallStreetApes posts such stupid content.

@gotrice2024 I guess all the men that went out to meet the woman of their lives were creepy. I am wondering how new generations of men will ever meet a woman to share their lives with. Soon even if you glance at a woman you will be labeled a perv.

This woman was enjoying some tacos when a random man walks by and asks her questions about the food, he seemed pleasant and only interested in the food however people are saying that it was creepy for him to say anything at all since she was by herself.
Whatever happened to being nice just for the sake of being nice, do you feel he was being creepy by asking her about how good the food was?
