@ryanjaycowan It looks dated even before launch - and what’s the deal with all those passenger displays?! 90% would rather look at their phone or out the window and keeping a conversation going with the driver - not playing crappy games etc.

Elon speaks home. Everybody and their mother want bigger battery, even if they rarely have an advantage. 100kWh battery cars will sell well especially with 300-400kW charging capability. Elon was saying bad things about LFP in early days too. IX3 will sell good in Europe if software holds and battery/charging will be flawless.

The BMW iX3 and iX are examples of how little the company still understands about BEVs. A very large battery means that in 99.99% of cases, when long distances aren't being driven, an unnecessary amount of weight is being carried around, which is inefficient and expensive. Since a large battery naturally takes longer to charge, even with fast charging speeds, the supposedly advantageous feature of a long range is worthless, because you simply end up spending more time charging and if you take shorter charging stops you could have been more efficient with a smaller battery. To everyone claiming they want to drive 1,000 km without a break: studies show that people with such a strong bladder are rare. And if your family is coming along, forget it. Such cases are so rare that it makes no sense to develop a vehicle for them. Both vehicles are fundamentally flawed in their design and are only suitable for people who, as ICE owners, have been falsely instilled with fear for years that BEVs supposedly don't have enough range or that there aren't enough charging stations—both of which are lies perpetuated by the oil and gas industry.

@Mattlinn01 @alex_avoigt With the same higher density, a smaller battery would still weigh less - it is still around 300 kgs. heavier than a Model Y - pretty much four adults worth of weight you carry around all the time

Det fascinerer mig, hvor forskelligt man kan se på tingene. Tesla føles bare billig, mens Polestar har bedre feel, men ikke kommer i nærheden af BMW og Mercedes i hverken køreegenskaber, materialer og holdbarhed på komponenter. Men måske er det bare mig. Og design..ja, det må være en smagssag.

@andersbaek1 Anders du væsenligt farvede at det snart er til at brække sig over. Tesla taber ræset i autonomi, fordi de reelt set ikke har hardware i bilerne til at kunne klare det. Deres robotter er ikke førende. Der kommer ikke datacentre i rummet heller… Det ved en hver efterhånden

We started a skunkworks team 4 years ago. They were basically Formula 1 and Tesla people. That vehicle is radically different. Car Sauce is one of Australia's best car review channels (almost as many subs as me) 😉.. but unfortunately something was 'off' about their recent Y L video, that compared it directly to a BYD hybrid. BYD is a great option for many Australians, and of course the car sauce crew might prefer it. But deliberately leaving out key features of the Tesla, and crowning BYD the outright winner, left me feeling very confused. @CarSauceAU are you able to confirm if any financial incentive swayed this review? Looking through the comments on this video, it seems others feel the same.

@ASychov @ryanjaycowan I live in Europe and have been doing many cross european road trips in our Teslas and the Supercharger network is far superior - Everyone I know with non-Teslas have grown tired of the expensive Ionity etc. with few stalls, queues etc.

@wholemars Autopilot but build on the FSD code is a must - Just limit the functionality (Like Autopilot already had) but don't skip it. The rest of the industry has lane keeping etc.
