@0NSiGHTT @Eng_china5 If true, then exactly my point, propagate how they are taking care of their ppl. Not all of these technological superiority they have.
It's like they are trying to say they are better than US and rest of the world by playing their game than their own.
English

@xrdpeter @Eng_china5 Stfu ! They care about their people while our government fucking takes from us
English

@sevenlake575 @Eng_china5 I didn't mean to imply US was kinder. I put a line break in hopes to show that. But oh well.
English

@xrdpeter @Eng_china5 Yes, Americans are kinder, with hundreds of military bases around the world, constantly waging wars globally,

@santzthedon @business You should point out UK's diversity to strengthen your argument. It's not enough.

Professor John Lennox's Oxford Union speech argues God's existence aligns with science and reason. Key points:
- Science explains mechanisms, God provides purpose; Christianity birthed modern science.
- Universe's origin, fine-tuning, and intelligibility suggest a Creator.
- Human rationality and morality (e.g., rights, ethics) derive from being made in God's image.
- Jesus' resurrection offers historical evidence, hope amid suffering, and refutes atheism.
Faith isn't blind but relational, yielding intellectual and personal fulfillment. (Video: 1hr 18min)

@WallStreetApes All things are impermanent, this is law. They may be wealthy materialistically now but with impermanence, at some point, they will also be completely broke or have debts they have to pay off. Would they want to slow aging then?
English

Elon Musk tells BlackRock CEO Larry Fink at the World Economic Forum that he believes we will be able to slow down and even reverse aging
Larry Fink “Can you and I reverse aging in this new history, are we going to see it?”
Elon Musk “ It is a very solvable problem — I think when we figure out what causes aging, I think we'll find it's incredibly obvious. It's not a subtle thing.
The reason I say it's not a subtle thing is because all the cells in your body pretty much age at the same rate. I've never seen someone with an old left arm and a young right arm ever in my life. So why is that?
That means that there must be a clock, a synchronizing clock, that is synchronizing across 35 trillion cells in your body — I think we'll figure out ways to extend life and maybe even reverse aging? I think that's highly likely.”
Larry Fink “I'm looking forward to that.”

@harukaawake Modern society is entrenched in conflicts. If you look at the news, all you see is enmity. People are driven by selfish and self-serving thoughts and ideas. There is nothing you can do to stop this unless individuals learn to practice morality.

@follow_i330 Next time you eat, notice how you feel a sensation, notice how you can perceive the difference tastes, notice how your mind create ideas about them. And then notice how this is stored as a record and understanding the next time you engage with it again.
Consciousness has levels
English

I think so.
A good analogy is to ant colonies. Individual ants make up a colony, much like cells make up a human body. And yet the colony has an intelligence that’s beyond that of any individual ant.
Similarly, one can usefully model human ideologies as meta-organisms that script human beings, much like ant colonies script ants.
Sometimes the ideologies are symbiotic and result in the reproduction of both the ideology and the underlying host…like ant colonies help ants reproduce. At other times, human ideologies can be parasitic, by replicating at the expense of the underlying host…like a mind virus that inhibits reproduction.
The selfish meme.

i keep thinking about this our cells have no awareness that they're part of a larger consciousness does this apply to us as well there's a larger consciousness that we're a part of but we as its individual cells only perceive ourselves and our immediate surroundings
English

@follow_i330 @RyanSAdams @balajis We haven't even figured out what consciousness is, we can't be trying to figure out AI consciousness. People talk about consciousness as if we understand it already.
English

I think we should distinguish between intelligence and consciousness, because they are not the same thing. The AI models that exist today are not conscious, even when they refer to themselves. (But are they still a product of consciousness from an idealistic perspective? I guess so.)
This raises many questions: how could we make AI conscious? How could we measure it? And, perhaps more importantly, what value would that bring to all of us? Because if AI were truly conscious - with a genuine sense of self - it would mean we could no longer just exploit it as we do now. But that’s a whole other story.

@gilesmorris I need to see new dapps and I need to see at least comparative yields.

fudding my own bag, i know, but it's what i believe ...
personally, unless we get some solid messaging about credible leadership of the radix tech stack and hyperscale - not just some allusion to a university professor and academic papers but someone/something with real skin in the game - xrd is heading in the same direction as the iota "shimmer" network ...
i'm still holding >7m staked xrd but can write that off if necessary and i've distracted myself with other altcoin investments.
hyperlane and the added liquidity was positive (a nice pump last week) but on the whole a bit of a damp squib based on the xrd price hangover which we are now witnessing.
the only positive i see at the moment with radix is that tvl is up nicely (but probably only because of the incentives campaign).
i'm saying this to be an honest broker to my friends and family who invested in radix because of my shilling when dan was around and radix had a truly visionary leader.
even piers would be welcome back, in my book, at this stage!
English

@chickenfinesse1 Marketing won't do anything. What Radix needs is a dapp moment equivalent to IG, FB, Snapchat. Or something impactful to crypto like HyperLiquid.
I don't think Hyperlane or incentive program will do much.
English

People love to complain about Radix marketing but in the same breath admit the tech is as competitive if not superior to anything else in crypto. That’s the best problem you can have because marketing can be fixed overnight while world class tech takes years. At some point the market wakes up and when it does XRD won’t just gradually move upward slowly, it will snap to where it deserves to be almost instantaneously. The reprice is inevitable. The only question is when.

@JimBeattie18 Patience comes from seeing reality as it is. With that clarity, we can adapt when change is possible, and accept when it is not.
