This might seem like a wet blanket but is incredibly important for NFT communities if we want to grow as a space: We need to stop focusing on and talking about floor prices, fomo, supply shock and all that jazz. Think about all the successful trading card communities. They don't spend their days talking about supply squeezes and fomo. They talk about Chase cards, upcoming drops, current metas etc. of course they keep track of price lists, but it's not a "let's all talk about how we increase these prices" culture. If we want this space to grow, and not become another bubble, the sole focus needs to be bringing in new collectors that love digital art collections. If they arrive and see a community spending the whole day talking about fomo and supply shock, they're going to think: 1. This is kinda weird. 2. This community is just excited about dumping on my head when I join. Most of them will promptly leave. NFTs are going to be massive and shock a lot of people with their growth. The communities that win in this next phase will be the ones that grow a culture of building fun around collectibles, not price and fomo.

gm to everyone who still believes in NFTs in my view, this past crypto cycle was driven by two forces: institutional adoption and pure play speculation on the surface, NFTs didn’t fit well into either. tradfi was focused on ETFs and stablecoins. memecoins and prediction markets were better vehicles for casino degeneracy but unique digital assets still have an important role to play in our increasingly digital future intangibles like community, scarcity, and identity are easy to discount when prices are down. this recent upswing is a reminder of how valuable they can be from digital art being embraced by the world’s leading fairs and museums to rare PFPs selling for a premium again, we’re seeing an energetic shift are NFTs “back”? who knows. but on a long enough time horizon, I believe digital culture is up only

There’s a reason collectibles > NFTs. And the answer has nothing to do with blockchain. It’s the same reason Pokemon never died. People collect things, they always have. The dopamine hits opening packs, the hunt for rares, the communities built around the pursuit. The psychology is older than web3. But the difference here? Your collectible becomes your identity. You pfp it, you build a brand around it. A Pokemon card never did that. And if the IP is built right you can then leverage it commercially. Something web2 never let you do… These leaders aren’t crypto projects, they are next level brands living on-chain.

@coingecko not listing #Hedera NFTs may have aligned with earlier market conditions, but things have changed. Early on, NFT data aggregation focused on a few dominant chains with clear liquidity, standardized marketplaces, and easy indexing. ETH, SOL etc. we all know them... Today, Hedera got exactly this with @SentX_io! Structured data and real activity by a super active community. We got close to ~21M $HBAR in monthly volume across just 7 (!!!) collections. Yet it's still missing from CoinGeckos NFT coverage. This affects visibility, discovery, and how capital flows across ecosystems. Since multi-chain is already in place, NFT coverage should reflect it by also including Hedera.🫡 And Hedera NFTs are just heating up again, just wait whats coming the next months.
