They want to see:
– Can you build a REST API?
– Can you read someone else's code?
– Can you ship without hand-holding?
Stop grinding Leetcode for interviews that don't exist here.
Build something instead.

Most projects break because we used to build, now we just generate.

AI made it easier to start a product and much harder to actually finish it. Earlier, writing code meant thinking through every step. Now you can generate 100 functions without fully understanding even 10. This is where you get lost and most projects break.

I’d contend that Benji is the ~best interface designer in the world, and Nikita is the ~best product manager in the world, or close enough that it doesn’t matter. And they’re both working on an app that I use daily, which hasn’t been true before. Exciting.
